Building interactive 3D website [GPT-6 Astra + Tripo] process breakdown 👇🏻

1 - > Generate the object For better 3D results, I usually start with a clean three-quarter view of the object. It gives AI more information about the shape, depth, and proportions. Upload the image to Tripo → Image-to-3D → generate the model. I also remove unnecessary background objects or overlapping elements before generating. Cleaner input usually gives me a cleaner model. For more precision, you can also use Batch Images with several views. Then export as .glb.

2 -> Clean the model If you got any extra geometry or picks up objects from the original image, use Segmentation to select and remove them directly from the 3D model. This is especially useful when the source image isn’t completely clean.

3 -> export models as .glb and upload to GPT (open sites and pick gpt-6 Astra model) ask Astra to build the interactive web experience around the models. I usually include my design sketch, cause I know how I want the interface to look, but you can also just start drop the models, and describe design style + functionality.
