There’s been some confusion/comments about my use of the phrase “pull the goalie” … so I’ll explain what it means, why I use it and why I think it’s the right starting point to use for defining urban Family Friendly housing Like from this clip from Marley and Me, it has simply meant a couple having sex, while being open to having kids. The word " trying" can feel really strange at first ... so it's just the shift from preventing a pregnancy to being willing for one to happen. And there’s a very big difference between getting pregnant and deciding to be willing to get pregnant. That difference is *key* when it comes both to designing housing and to making a City more family friendly. I know plenty of couples who have gotten pregnant immediately, like on the honeymoon. And for others it has taken years of ACTUAL trying (tracking cycles, having sex at specific times of day, hormones, IVF) ... and for some of our friends despite all efforts it just has not happened. Only God knows when or if a couple will have a baby. Babies truly are a miracle. (On a related note, Marley and Me is a beautiful movie in telling the story of wanting a family and losing a baby. My wife and I have lost children, so we know a *bit* of what the heartbreak of miscarriage is like) But the shift for a couple to become WILLING to have a baby is one of the core reasons people struggle to have kids in cities. If someone looks around their apartment and thinks, “There is no way we could raise a baby here,” then they’re less likely to stop using birth control. Your home has to feel like it could accommodate a baby. A "Baby Maybe" home: a second small bedroom or a tiny home office, that could have be a nursery in a pinch. It enables the small, almost subconscious, mental threshold where you say, “You know what … we’d be fine if this happened.” That’s the moment. And for each couple, there will be 1000 other things that go into the equation: Can we afford for 1 of us to stay home, or full-time childcare? Do we see other kids around us? Is it safe enough for kids? Are there parks nearby? Do we need to be closer to family and cousins? All will be different for each family, but they ALL require that their current home is sufficient to be able to have a kid Otherwise, as soon as a couple finds out they are pregnant ... they call their parents, friends and family and tell them the good news ... and then immediately look on Zillow to move right away so they aren't giving birth AND moving the same time. It's kind of a bummer in an otherwise wonderful magical moment. We've seen many many couples move out of the City at that exact period. "Well, since we are moving anyway, we might as well go to where we think we will live long term." But it doesn't need to be that. Babies are small. At least for the first year, if you have a place to put them you're probably better off just staying in your current place and then figuring things out later. Maybe you DO need to move to the suburbs or be closer to family or you want a house with a yard. But that decision doesn't need to be right away. TLDR: Family Friendly housing doesn’t begin at birth. It begins when a couple can imagine a child fitting into their current home ... whether that's a rowhome with tiny bedrooms or a 1BR+Den apartment.

Yes, Gen Z, we get it—you don’t care about data privacy. But that’s just a tiny part of the story. The real issue here is control. The Chinese Communist Party is using TikTok to build a blueprint of influence over you and our society. They’re not just tracking what you do; they’re deciding what you see, and therefore *how you think*. There is plenty of evidence this is already happening. Now imagine how much more powerful it would be as an information warfare weapon when the proverbial shit hits the fan in a potential conflict over Taiwan. Yeah, the Chinese will take control of all advanced semi-conductor chips in Taiwan (the ones that power your precious smartphone), and then use your addiction to TikTok to convince you it’s all a good idea. TikTok, as an entertainment platform, is an incredible product. It’s fun, it’s creative, and millions of Americans love using it. But we also need to recognize that it’s a Trojan horse. And right now, that horse is carrying Chinese Communist Party influence into our backyard and sending American’s data back to Beijing. That’s the problem we need to solve. The goal here is not about trying to stop American small businesses who use TikTok to promote themselves, the latest dances, or end “brain rot” trends—though maybe fixing that wouldn’t hurt either. It’s about making sure that enjoyment doesn’t come at the cost of our privacy, our freedom, or our national security. There’s a way to fix this. We don’t need to kill TikTok; we need to kick the Chinese Communist Party out of it. Ownership by someone who shares—or at least respects—our democratic values is the solution. People like Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank and Dodgers owner Frank McCourt are already exploring a potential acquisition. But the fact that TikTok seems unwilling to even consider this solution tells us all we need to know about its true purpose.

This guy built a visual scanner that reads 468 points on his face and 42 points on his hands from a regular webcam and turns them into a cloud of thousands of particles right between his palms. Inside, MediaPipe and TouchDesigner are linked: the first captures hands and face from the webcam with high accuracy, the second turns those coordinates into a live plane and feeds it into a POP system that instantly generates a swarm of particles in the shape of a head. No studio, no render farmer, no VR headset. Just a laptop, a webcam, and 1 TouchDesigner session. And traditional VJ studios keep teams of 5 people on a setup with lighting, custom hardware, and commercial plugins, while his expenses are only a TouchDesigner subscription and a regular USB camera. One laptop runs MediaPipe and TouchDesigner simultaneously, holds the camera stream at 60 FPS without drops, and in parallel processes 468 face points + 21 points on each hand. The camera captures frame after frame, MediaPipe in real time sends TouchDesigner the finger coordinates and face geometry, and the POP operator inside the engine translates those numbers into thousands of particle points with colors from bright pink to gold. This setup immediately defines the role of the tool and the limits of its autonomy. It knows where the fingertips are at every moment of the frame. It knows how to read the face geometry at any angle to the camera. It knows how to draw a swarm of particles between them with the right color and contour. → MediaPipe pulls 468 points from the face and 21 points from each hand, 60 times per second → TouchDesigner receives those coordinates, builds a virtual rectangle between the fingertips, and feeds it into the POP system → POP generates thousands of particle points in the shape of a head, coloring them in a gradient from bright pink to gold → The HUD layer adds green corners and a blue neon frame, styling the image like an AR interface → All layers assemble into 1 real-time frame that projects back onto the video in the camera window → The final image is recorded to a file or broadcast to a projector for a live installation And only when the guy spreads his hands wider does the plane between the palms stretch; brings them together, it narrows. Otherwise the system runs on its own. And when he moves from his home room to a concert hall, the same laptop with the same webcam launches the same TouchDesigner session in just 5 minutes, without reconfiguration, without a new team, and without a single line of new code. In his work setup there is no studio of his own and no team for assembly. On the desk sits a laptop with a webcam, on top run MediaPipe and TouchDesigner with POP operators, and the same setup through a USB camera moves to any concert without a new configuration. Out of everything I have seen this year, this is the cleanest Creative Coding setup on 1 laptop: 0 render farms, 0 studio lighting, and between them 3 libraries, thousands of particle points, and 1 webcam.

🚨 CATL SAYS LITHIUM-AIR BATTERIES COULD ONE DAY DELIVER 1600+ KM RANGE WITH ENERGY DENSITY APPROACHING PETROL. The world’s largest battery maker is pushing a radical “breathing” battery technology that replaces heavy nickel, cobalt and manganese with lithium metal and oxygen pulled directly from the air. In early lab tests, researchers have already achieved around 1,200 Wh/kg more than four times today’s best lithium-ion cells. With further development, CATL believes the technology could theoretically reach ~12,000 Wh/kg, close to the energy density of petrol itself. Why this matters: • It could slash battery weight and cost dramatically • Small EVs might achieve 1,600+ km of real-world range • It removes dependence on scarce metals like nickel and cobalt • A 1,000-cycle prototype with 1,600 km range would theoretically last 1.6 million kilometres The deeper implication: Lithium-air represents one of the few battery chemistries that could genuinely match or exceed the convenience of petrol without massive compromises. If the enormous technical hurdles (moisture sensitivity, cycle life, and oxygen management) can be solved, it wouldn’t just improve EVs it could fundamentally change what’s possible for electric aviation, long-haul transport, and portable power. We’re still very early. Current prototypes are far from commercial, and most experts expect mass production only after 2030 at the earliest. But the fact that the company producing over half the world’s high-voltage batteries is seriously pursuing this shows how transformative the payoff could be. Would you rather see solid-state batteries win the next decade, or do you think lithium-air could leapfrog them entirely? Follow for more frontier battery technology and energy breakthroughs.

🚨 URGENT CALL: HELP US TRACK THIS INTRIGUING FIGURE FROM THE UVU EVENT—COULD YOUR VIDEO OR PIC CLARIFY WHAT HE'S HOLDING? LET'S BUILD A FULL PICTURE FOR CHARLIE'S TRUTH! As we continue piecing together the heartbreaking events of September 10th at UVU, I've come across this one individual who has me genuinely curious—and I could use your eyes and archives to help clarify things. He's positioned on the overpass or walkway atop the BA Building, directly behind Charlie Kirk's tent. If you're visualizing from the crowd's perspective facing the stage, he'd be just slightly to the left of where Charlie was seated. Take a close look at what appears to be in his hands—could it be a camera capturing the moment? Perhaps a small device like a drone controller? Or something else entirely? I'm not suggesting anything nefarious here at all; he could just be an innocent attendee. But understanding his position and movements before, during, and after the incident could add valuable context to the timeline we're all working to reconstruct—especially with the questions around the rooftop, the left-side evidence markers, and those pre-event IP searches we've discussed. If you have any photos, videos, or clips from that day showing him—or even the surrounding area—please send them my way! Genuine appreciation for any leads that help us honor Charlie's memory with facts, not assumptions. Together, we're stronger in seeking real answers and challenging the lies our own government is trying to feed us. Your contribution could be the missing link —who knows? I'm so grateful for this awesome community. Let's keep it respectful, focused, and forward-moving. As always DO NOT CONTACT anyone in my post, leave that to us.

Honestly, I hate that I even have to say this, but seeing people use one single fancam to claim Sana “can’t dance” is genuinely ridiculous. Y’all, for everyone dragging Sana because of one video from the 73rd THIS IS FOR tour show, I think it’s important to look at the full context before judging her dancing ability. First of all, Sana had been dealing with a cold, flu, and cough for over a month at that point, which can definitely affect stamina and performance consistency during a 2–3 hour concert. There are also several factors that can make the dancing look less smooth in that particular fancam: 1. Outfit If you’ve watched other fancams from this black outfit era, Sana was adjusting her outfit quite often on stage because it seemed to shift, slip, or sit unevenly at times. An uncomfortable outfit can naturally affect movement and make a performer more cautious. 2. Camera tracking The camera appears to follow her movements slightly late. Even a small delay can make smooth transitions look jerky or abrupt when viewed on video. 3. Awkward zoom distance The fancam isn’t zoomed out enough to show the full choreography, but it’s also not close enough to focus on facial expressions. Because of that, viewers end up focusing mostly on body transitions and posture, which can make movements look harsher than they actually are. 4. Phone camera limitations High-energy movements recorded on a phone can suffer from motion blur, stabilization issues, and frame-rate limitations. Sharp movements that look clean in person can appear choppy or less fluid on video. 5.Stamina This was already the 73rd show of the tour. Performing the same demanding choreography for dozens of concerts while dealing with illness can affect anyone’s energy level. And if this one clip is enough to convince you that Sana “can’t dance,” then I encourage you to watch other performances of Right Hand Girl from different angles and different outfits. Looking at a performer’s overall body of work will always give a more accurate picture than judging them from a single fancam. One fancam does not erase years of consistently solid performances.

Look at how American children live! I filmed this on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! A follower of my Chinese language account 曾錚 says that a lot of Chinese middle and high-school students are just like prisoners, and their parents are only allowed to visit them at school once a month!

The asset management companies are the main weapon of control used by the shadow elite. They all own each other, making themselves one giant entity that owns everything. Even though Vanguard and BlackRock claim they “do not own the companies,” they still control the voting rights behind the scenes. They are the ones who vote for board members, approve or reject CEO salaries, decide mergers, push ESG agendas, shape labor rules, supply-chain rules, and even anti-competitive policies. Your money is in the fund… but they vote with it. And because index funds never sell, their power only grows with every passing year. This creates a form of shadow governance. Look at Coca-Cola and Pepsi: Vanguard and BlackRock hold around 20% of each. No individual shareholder comes even close. So who does every CEO secretly obey? Not the person who owns 0.5% — but the entity that votes 20% of the company. They don’t “run” the companies directly, but every CEO knows the truth: If Vanguard or BlackRock vote against you, you are finished. Fired. Replaced. That is real power — control without ownership. They pretend to be “passive,” neutral, harmless. But the reality is the complete opposite: a small shadow group controlling the world’s largest corporations through quiet, invisible voting power. You don’t see their hands, but they move everything. I will make a deep dive for my subscribers and Patreons if there is interest.

Nobody’s perfect. This week I’ve been exploring attachment, a deep emotional bond between infants and their parents. In prior posts we’ve discussed four different attachment styles, with an emphasis on the most desirable and healthy of them all: secure attachment. Yesterday I emphasized that attachment styles result not from how you interact with your child SOME of the time, but how you interact ALL of the time - by which I mean that the totality of your interactions and the consistent and predictable patterns you establish with your child are what determines these outcomes. For this reason, your default mode should be warm and responsive. But today I want to insert a small, but important, caveat. Or at least a little more nuance. Nobody’s perfect. Nobody. As a well-intentioned parent it’s easy to hold yourself to an impossibly high standard. And that’s a recipe for fueling your own anxiety and ill health. The truth is that you can’t be instantly responsive 24/7 to your child’s every possible need. This isn’t an excuse to slack off. But it is a reminder to be kind to yourself. Parents are human. And we all have our lesser moments. We can be moody, stressed, exhausted... Sometimes we’re upset. Or distracted. And sometimes you need to take a shower. Or answer a knock on the door. Life happens. And the last thing I want you to take away from this conversation is a sense that any missed opportunity - or even the occasional boneheaded mistake - will cause your child irreparable harm. Instead think of attachment kind of like a jury might in a civil trial: what does the preponderance of the evidence suggest? Are you ALMOST always meeting your mark? If so, take this post as a little peace of mind. Secure attachment doesn’t require a perfect report card. If it did, secure attachments likely wouldn’t exist. The late pediatrician Donald Winnicot is credited with the concept of “good enough parenting” - which I’ve always found to be a really useful frame. This same concept holds true for lots of other advice that I’ve offered, by the way. Do you want to plop your baby in front of a screen all day? Absolutely not. Is it realistic to think they’ll never be exposed to one? Also probably not. Parenting isn’t an all or nothing proposition. So aim high… but give yourself a little grace. As instructed in this video posted to IG by digitalmumincome, I’m sharing it to let you know you’re doing an amazing job. (If you read regularly you’ll know this child is actually in active sleep - which sometimes includes eye opening… and most likely smiling reflexively…but it’s cute and its other message fits today’s post. So just enjoy!)

It’s time to poke the bear again. The X algorithm has already nuked my reach, and they hide these kinds of posts because they make you think. GUYS!! NIGERIA, AEDC, AND TINUBU HAPPENED TO MY SMALL COMMUNITY IN LUGBE YESTERDAY!!!😥 For almost 3 years since I built my small hut in this community, we have been battling with epileptic power situation due to the overloaded Transformer which has been serving 3 communities including mine. In December 2025, after myself and a few community members spearheaded a regime change and ensured a proper election was conducted. After the election, we told the newly elected chairman (who happens to be my very very good friend) that the priority is for us to get our own dedicated Transformer for the community. Initially, we were thinking of buying. But considering it will cost over N20million to buy a 500KVA Transformer and another N15million plus for accessories and installation, the mission looked impossible. Then I and others told the Chairman that we can actually give it a try an reach out to the aedcelectricity for a Transformer given that the NERC Nigeria has told Nigerians that it is the responsibility of the DISCOs to provide Transformer and any power related infrastructure to any community or area in need of such infrastructure. Considering the Nigerian factor, many, infact, almost the entire community said it was never going to be possible for AEDC to give us a Transformer free of charge. But as someone who has been an advocate of government and who has always benefited from government by following due process, I encouraged my community and the Chairman that this is actually worth a try. In January 2026, we drafted a Transformer request letter and submitted to the AEDC Head Office at Wuse Zone 4, and the processes began. Low and behold, in less than 4 months, the AEDC, yesterday, delivered a brand new 500KVA Transformer with complete accessories to my community FREE-OF-CHARGE!🤸‍♂️🕺 I have told my community people that we have started benefitting our own share of the N3.3trillion approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to GENCOs and all of us have agreed that come 2027, it is TINUBU OR NOTHING!!!🤗💪🏾 God bless the AEDC! God bless NERC!! God bless President Tinubu!!! God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬🙏🏾
