Woo! Question, is the world good for playing together with friends? Or is it a better solo experience?

The sad thing about the fanatics is that they do not realise how the world laughs at us when they hear our leaders say these things. It costs US$160 million per kilometre to build a bullet train network. That is why Stephen Sucker called it an Alice in Wonderland “wet” dream. Even South Africa does not have a bullet train, yet it is three times larger than Zimbabwe in terms of land size. To build a bullet train rail from Bulawayo to Harare costs US$74 billion, just to connect Harare and Bulawayo alone. Is that the immediate need for Zimbabwe? Can Zimbabwe afford that now when, out of the total road network of 97,267 kilometres, only 18,000 kilometres are tarred? Hospitals have collapsed, schools have no books, and more. Surely, the fanatics must realise how embarrassing it is for a leader to jump to something that the country cannot afford, even without corruption. It gives the impression of someone with presidential ambitions but without an understanding of the task ahead and what the country truly needs! When we critique, we are doing so to help him realise how misguided his ideas are in relation to the immediate necessities of our time. I say our time because nobody above thirty will see a bullet train in Zimbabwe, not because of the cost, but the hierarchy of needs. You first fix hospitals, schools, ordinary rail, roads, dams, and all the basic necessities of life. As of now, there are only 15 countries with operational bullet train or high-speed rail systems. Not even Britain has a bullet train, we can’t talk of bullet trains when our people are walking on sewage and have no clean drinking water. I understand why, psychologically, our people hold on to useless illusions and get angry when their favorite leaders are critiqued. It is because we grew up in a country with only one television station, where journalists lined up to bootlick politicians, even as they said useless things! So we are a society that doesn’t understand the essence of real journalism, we want our journalists to write for politicians instead of about politicians! It does not make much sense for Zimbabwe to prioritise a bullet train at this moment, given our current economic and infrastructure challenges. While a bullet train, or as it is conventionally known, a high-speed rail system, could be a long-term asset for modernising the country’s transport network, there are more immediate needs that should take precedence, such as fighting corruption and fixing our hospitals.

We got new Crimson Desert gameplay, showing off the combat, progression system and more of the world, and this game continues to look insane. Here are the highlights: - Multiple different weapon types including: Sword and shield, Spears, Greatswords, Axes, Dual-wield swords and ranged weapons such as guns - Use mounts during combat such as bears, mechs and dragons - Melee combat allows you to utilize actual martial arts and massive combos - Three playable characters, Cliff seems to mostly use melee weapons, a female is focused on magic and ranged weapons such as a rifle, and a male orc who serves a barbarian role. It does seem like you can mix and match abilities between them - You can grab, throw and kick enemies to create chains of attacks. Slide is another ability that can be chained with double jumps and kicks - Swap weapons mid combat and you can enhance weapnos with elements such as spark damage - A grapple hook can be used to scale up walls and swing into attacks - Progression is based on acquiring artifacts, which are found by defeating bosses and at the end of dungeons as well as hidden across the world - Some skills are earned by observing others use them out in the world - You can use a sort of helicopter blades umbrella to fly around the world - Buy, find or craft gear to use in combat. Gear is upgradeable as well - Crafting/Upgrading is highly detailed, for example you can go and mine for certain materials in caves, you will also need to hunt animals or defeat bosses for certain materials as well - Crafting materials can be obtained through quests and in hidden locations as well - Add special effects to weapons and armors at certain vendors such as Wizards - There are flying bosses that you will have to fight in the skies such as flying metallic birds that you can land on Crimson Desert is launching on March 19th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Mac. Every time we see more of this game, it feels like a true GOTY contender that will be an absolute amazing massive experience. I truly hope it lives up to the hype!

Crimson Desert previews are here and overall, content creators are impressed with the game: - Open world is gorgeous, the game ran remarkably well on this PC build with no FPS drops (7900XTX GPU), the draw distance is insane - Crimson Desert does not hold your hand, there are genuinely difficult puzzles and no yellow paint to guide you, with a ton of mechanics in combat and exploration that all come together and are up to the player to use - Every single questline's cutscenes are motion captured and animated, it does not use generic animations (at least for main quests) - MMO roots from Black Desert are obvious, the skill tree is deeply involved and each build feels entirely unique - Combat is reportedly "really good" with a ton of complex mechanics and great animations - NPCs don't have schedules like a Kingdom Come 2 or Skyrim, they are mostly static but they will react to your actions and there is a full crimes system that you can mess with - You can set arrows on fires by aiming towards any source of fire then shooting, this is used in environmental puzzles. Another way to set things on fire is by pressing down both bumpers which causes Kliff to hold up his sword to reflect the sun's light onto things to set them on fire - Quest givers will contact you by sending a bird with a letter, this will happen naturally in the open world - Exploration is fantastic, each location is entirely unique and you can utilize all the different abilities in unique ways, for example you can launch yourself across a wall OR use a dragon to fly in OR climb it - Boss fights are very advanced, each one is unique with their design and movesets - Side Quests and Random Events are fun, some are as small as rescuing a cat from a rooftop, others are more major storylines - Some quest bugs were seen, but no optimization issues, when they were switched to an Endgame save, many reported a higher number of bugs and glitches but nothing game-breaking. - There are combat finishers and they are unique for each weapon type - Combos are available and they are unique for every single weapon type, there are many button combinations to apply these in combat - Some content creators complained that the puzzles were too confusing as they utilize a very specific ability at times and its hard to keep track of all the abilities that you have - You can buy food or cook it, or hunt and sell that meat - Content creators all loved it, they played 6+ hours and had fun, saying that they just want to play more afterwards - Controls however are described as complex and may be clunky as there are a many button combinations for unique actions It seems like Crimson Desert is shaping up to be a genuinely great game, we are yet to see console footage but if the amazing optimization for PC is anything to go by, we likely have little to worry about. Crimson Desert is dropping on March 19th, I cannot wait!

The MOST IMORTANT MESSAGE "The TIME is NOW." Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram and Candace Owens both said some words today that really hit home... They explained a DARK, EVIL, and SADISTIC force that is encroaching upon us and our world that is slowly taking away and destroying everything that are forefathers fought so hard to give us. Most importantly, our FREEDOMS. It wouldn't be right in any way to let this happen to us, our world and especially the generations after us, our children's futures. There will be no other moment in time that will be more important than right now. Right now and the few years or less that we have to save our society and our FREEDOMS will determine the entire worlds future from here on out. I suggest you really start paying attention because time is running out. It's time to do something ladies and gentleman. The TIME is NOW. Please read what Patel and Candace said today because they are 100% right. PAVEL DUROV: "I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating. Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers. What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control. What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control. Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU). Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy. A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away. We’ve been fed a lie. We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech. By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological. So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. We are running out of time." CANDACE OWENS: “You’d have to get rid of all of us, seven billion people if you want us to just forget about the Charlie Kirk story. No one’s forgetting it. I don’t know whose sadistic idea it was to make this a public execution. But let me tell you where you made the mistake. In 1963, when JFK was shot, people didn’t watch it on TikTok. You made us watch this live, around the world. You traumatized all of us... not in the way you meant to. You wanted to make us fearful. Instead, you made us angry. Angry that corruption is this blatant, this in our face. We’re grieving because you assassinated Charlie Kirk in front of the entire world. You wanted this to be a public execution. That disturbs me. So you get what you get. This is the internet generation. You get TikTokers, military guys, ballistic experts, psychics, all of us. We’re running this now. We’re not calming down. We’re not forgetting. Who ordered the public execution?" It's Time to WAKE UP ladies and gentleman and FIGHT BACK before all of this is for ABSOLUTELY nothing.

Gemini for Android is here! This new app makes it easier to access Google's chatbot, powered by the Gemini Pro LLM, right from your Android device. You can ask Gemini a question by tapping the launcher icon or long-pressing the power button. Once invoked, the Gemini overlay lets you enter a text or text+image prompt. You can tap the camera icon to snap a photo or press the "add this screen" button to take a screenshot of the current page to include in your prompt. The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. How can you long-press the power button to invoke Gemini if that gesture is handled by Google Assistant? The answer is that the Gemini Android app can replace Google Assistant as your default assistant if you want, meaning all the ways you'd normally invoke Google Assistant on your phone can instead invoke Gemini. Unfortunately, Gemini currently doesn't offer ALL the same functionality as Google Assistant and requires an active data connection, but more features will be added over time. There's also now a Gemini Advanced tier, which offers access to Google's most powerful Ultra 1.0 LLM. Access to Gemini Advanced requires a subscription to the new $20/month "AI Premium" Google One plan, which offers the same benefits as the 2TB plan but adds access to Gemini Advanced and soon Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, & other Workspace apps (formerly under the Duet AI umbrella). Gemini Advanced is available in English on the web.
