One of the best talks on AI over the past year was at Burning Man. Burning Man Project We’re grateful to share this recording with permission from Sam Altman (Sam Altman technologist, CEO of OpenAI & creator of ChatGPT) and Android Jones (Android Jones ) talking about “The Future of Art in the Age of AI.” It’s real, it’s raw, and it could have only happened in Black Rock City. Afterward Sam texted Android and I, and said that he took notes from this conversation, sent them to the OpenAi team, and that it changed their path forward.

JD Vance on Greenland: Greenland matters to American national security because our entire missile defense relies on security in the Arctic. If a foreign country launched a missile at the United States of America, we would need control over the Arctic in order to shoot that missile down. Our entire missile defense system depends on that Arctic security. The Chinese and the Russians and even the Danes who control Greenland want to control that facility and that land mass. That would make us weaker. That would make our country more endangered. It would mean that if the President were negotiating with a foreign leader, he would have less leverage because they could realistically threaten the sovereignty and territorial safety of the United States of America. We’re not going to let that happen.

The government and the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) have jointly introduced new security screening equipment, including a 3D-CT scanner, shoe analyzers, body scanners and other advanced security devices, to enhance passenger screening and ensure a smoother security inspection process for travelers using the Accra International Airport. The procurement of the scanners, announced by President John Dramani Mahama during the launch of the E-Visa System last year, is also expected to reduce passenger wait times and significantly speed up the screening process.

Because of a bug in Android 8.0, it is possible to bypass lock-screen timeout and disable Android PIN/Password/Pattern using ADB commands In the video, I automatically tested 26 different PINs in a row without 30 seconds timeout being triggered. As a result, PIN was found and lock-screen protection removed. This bug was fixed in Android 8.1 and above OS versions. This method can be used only on devices with enabled debugging. More info:
