I just noticed that Andy Pages has a new "best catch of the year" according to catch probability, and it's a great example of how watching the advanced stats can tell you things you won't get from watching on TV. This was the last play of the game last Wednesday. Bogaerts hit the ball 102.3 MPH at a 15° launch angle, and Pages covered 45 feet in 2.9 seconds and did it so efficiently he didn't even have to leave his feet. Statcast has it at just a 5% catch probability.

Humility goes a long way man. When you show humility, observers and opponents are far more apt to have patience through your struggles. Caitlin Clark came into that game last night with the following stats over her previous 5 games: 13 pts 12 pts 9 pts 19 pts 24 pts ——————— 15 PPG 41% FG 27% 3PT She made a 3PT late in the game against the worst team in the league. Then she turned to the camera, and said, “I’m that motherf&$$er.” WHAT??? My heart dropped in that moment……for a couple of reasons. 1. She is arguably the worst role model for kids in the WNBA. I pray for kids who watch and emulate her words, her attitude, and her misplaced arrogance. 2. The Golden State Valkyries had just toyed with her hours prior to this game. When you turn to the camera and say, “I’m that motherf&$$er” while the teammate who has ACTUALLY BEEN THAT for YOUR TEAM is standing next to you with quiet humility………….. THIS is the type of behavior that makes opponents want to DESTROY you. You can tell US that you’re that, but now you’re going to have to SHOW THEM that you’re that because your opponents are COMING. Oh, and they don’t want to hear anymore injury talk, because injuries only come up when you’re incarcerated and on 23&1 lockdown like the Valkyries had you. 💪🏾🏀

I have experience my fair share with sportybet. Yesterday own was the greatest shocker. I couldn't believe my eyes. My last game inter Milan over 1.5. Inter score 9 minute and I immediately removed my mind on that game budgeting what I will use the money to do. You would think the game will enter first half but the game ended 1-0. The second game i put 0.5 first half for inter, the game enter but Al lttihad was the only team that cut the game. But the game i put over 1.5, inter score 9th minute and lock up. It's even yesterday I realized there's something called early goals option and if I used it for this inter game, it would have entered since they scored before the 10th minute. This isn't the first or hundredth times my last game did me strong thing. The day i will win big and sportybet try this fraudulent activities they have been doing for days now, I will drag them more than the bed to bed midfielders I drag on a daily. For now, I accept my loss. Let me just recover from the heartbreak. The game might be brutal but it's still fair.

Fable 5 comes back！It can now build playable game prototypes. I think it is actually a signal for where AI coding is going. Making a game is not just “write some code.” Even a small browser game needs: game loop；character movement；collision logic；scoring system；UI states；physics tuning；visual feedback；bug fixing；playtesting This is why game prototyping is a great test for AI models. A model cannot fake it with a pretty answer. Either the game runs, or it does not. What impressed me about Fable 5 is that it is useful for the messy middle: turning an idea into mechanics, turning mechanics into code, debugging broken interactions, and iterating until the prototype feels playable. But here is the practical part: I would not use the strongest model for every step. For game building, I would split the workflow: 1. Fable 5 for game design + architecture 2. a fast coding model for routine implementation 3. a vision-capable model for screenshot/UI feedback 4. a cheaper model for docs, test cases, and small fixes 5. fallback when latency, cost, or output quality becomes a problem That is the real AI coding stack. Not “one magic model does everything.” More like: the right model, for the right task, at the right cost, with fallback when things break. This is why I’ve been looking at ZenMux ZenMux. ZenMux gives developers one gateway to access multiple leading AI models, with OpenAI / Anthropic / Google Vertex compatible APIs, cost tracking, quality benchmarks, auto-routing, and compensation when output quality, latency, or throughput falls short. Prime reason why you shouldn’t play star players in a pre season game. 7-8 pre season games is beyond dumb. Playing guys for what? To have minor league guys run around looking to make an impression? If I was a GM I’d let my core of 5-8 players maybe play 2 exhibitions. I’d sacrifice them being a bit rusty games 1-3 in the regular season vs risking serious injury from some dipshit running around like a chicken with his chin cut off. And I’m not faulting those guys either (the guys trying to make the team) they have a job to do too. Jobs are won within these games. But Makar takes one up high last night, Cooley gets stapled. I have not seen enough about the decision from Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense. Completely out-coached one of the best offensive minds in the game. #Titans

What you witnessed last night……(and this is why I hate talking basketball with Caitlin Clark fans because they know jack NOTHING about the game of basketball)……….was the result of team meetings, walk-throughs, film sessions, and an ENTIRE GAME PLAN that was CENTERED around containing ONE player: Angel Reese. ————————————————- The plan was simple: 1. If the ball goes to Angel Reese in the post, immediately double and triple team her. No one player can stop her. 2. If a shot goes up, send FOUR BODIES to surround ANGEL REESE. No one player will keep her off the boards. No TWO players will keep her off the boards. We’ve TRIED that. ————————————————- I’ve attached two video clips from last night’s game: Clip 1: The ball goes to Angel Reese in the post. She is immediately triple-teamed. Why on God’s green EARTH would a WNBA team TRIPLE-TEAM a player who SUCKS?!!! Great question. Clip 2: A shot goes up. Watch the difference in the practice swings and the shot. See the head dip & knee buckle? Have seen this from Lexi before. Can’t remember which major it was, but it was last season in the closing stages of the final round and tight lies. It’s a classic move from those who have anxiety with their pitching and are trying to help the ball in the air. I know it well. I had the chipping / pitching yips for a few years and was a complete mess. Head moving down & leaning back to the right shifts the low point of the club to an earlier spot. I really learnt from the best If your content is averaging 700 views it’s of two things 1. It’s either you did not warm up your account well to the hashtag you are posting with 2. My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. I’ve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged 🤣 . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/🎈 as I became the 🎯 for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on 🎥. Probably won’t be going back to a STL game again, but I’m glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5

thanks guys for trying the demo! this feels different from the initial demo that we pushed last year in the steam RTS fest. Back then, 95% of feedback was about "lack of tutorial". It made me sad because I didn't really enjoy the game back then and I felt that making a tutorial was pointless. this time, we still don't have a tutorial, only few minor objectives, and still got 10x more feedback. And real feedback from players that played a lot, some of them replayed the same mission many times. for the first time in almost 3 years, I feel confident about encouraging people to try Powerplay. And it will only get bigger and better from here, because I decided to finally end my solo developer era and finally get a partner to help me ship this motherfucker! If you have been following the development you should know who I am talking about 😉 I will announce it soon!
