Tapper: What is the reason for the second and third shot through the window when he's not in the line of sight of the car? Noem: What I would appreciate is everybody sticking to the facts of the situation and recognize that this law enforcement officer took action based on his training to protect himself and the public.

We do not encourage communities to take the law into their own hands. We call on communities to work together with law enforcement agencies, point them in the right direction, and it is the law enforcement agencies that must take action.

BASH: “So are you saying it's not okay for him to exercise his Second Amendment right – not to mention his First Amendment right to be there in the first place – but his Second Amendment right to carry a gun? And if you do, you can be shot by federal law enforcement?” BOVINO: "No, I didn't say that, Dana. I never said that. What I'm saying is we respect that Second Amendment right. But those rights don't count when you riot and assault, delay, obstruct and impede law enforcement officers."

Hong: The governor cannot defund the police, and I won't defund the police. And I am not interested in abolishing prisons. What I am interested in is being serious about safety. And that means ensuring that law enforcement has the training that they need, and that we're holding law enforcement that break the law accountable.

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as a reporter asks President Donald Trump, “Do you agree with the assessment from some officials that Alex Pretti was a domestic terrorist President Trump responded by saying he had not heard Pretti described that way and called the situation “very unfortunate.” He emphasized that he does not believe Pretti was acting as an assassin and stressed that a full investigation is needed. Trump also reiterated concerns about people carrying guns near law enforcement during tense protests, calling the incident “very sad” and saying that such confrontations should be avoided.

Khanna: They don't abide by the Fourth Amendment. They don't abide by the Second Amendment. They killed Alex Pretti because he had a gun… and they don't abide by the First Amendment. They're shooting people for engaging engaging in the First Amendment right to peaceful protests. They are violating every aspect of our Bill of Rights,

As I said last night, complaining that the victim had a gun is a terrible explanation. The 2nd Amendment protects the right to bear arms for all law abiding American - not just law enforcement.

Q: Friday is the deadline after which the housing bill becomes law without your signature— Trump: I'll make a decision. Not that I dislike it. I dislike the fact that people aren't voting for voter ID with a picture.

Abby Phillip: “Scott, what was Pretti doing in the moment that he was assaulted by assault ICE officer?” Scott Jennings: “I mean, he was engaging with law enforcement officers. He was within inches of them.” Abby Phillip: “No, he wasn’t.” Scott Jennings: “Yes, he was. There was a scrum.” Abby Phillip: “What exactly was he doing?” Scott Jennings: “He was engaging in the middle of a law enforcement situation.” “My only point is that you have ordinary people who are being trained or instructed to go into the middle of active law enforcement zones, and that is extremely unwise. It's extremely unwise.” Exactly!

BREAKING: Greg Bovino blatantly tries to create a bogus narrative over ICE's murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, Minnesota today. He seemingly claims that because Pretti had a gun in his waist-ban (legally), it can be assumed that he wanted to "massacre law enforcement," and that gave ICE a right to shoot and kill him. Where are all of the Pro-Second Amendment people? You've gone from being against creating larger restrictions for guns to suddenly cheering on as law-enforcement kills somebody merely for legally owning a gun? It's clear as day in the videos that the officer took the gun from Pretti before he was shot multiple times and killed. This is murder!

Alex Pretti was an armed leftist agitator with a history of assaulting law enforcement officers. It’s not surprising that smarmy (and sweaty) journalists are trying to turn him into a civil rights hero
