When it comes to data centers, Michigan should show the country how to do it right. That means: Data center companies, not Michigan families, pay for their own energy and grid upgrades – so rates don't go up. Data centers can't harm our water, air, or environment. Data centers pay their fair share in taxes to fund our schools, roads, and communities. Data centers are built with local union labor.

Sherrod Brown is running a Pac-Man themed ad about data centers in #OHSen: "Ohio's electric grid. Big corporations treat it like a game, gobbling up energy to feed their data centers. ... I'll require the data centers pay the full cost of their electricity, not you."

Many states in America are creating deals for Data Centers exempting them from all sales taxes - Servers - CPUs - Mechanical equipment - Electricity - Electrical outlets - ‘Supplies’ - and so much more So while you have to pay a sales tax, data centers are completely exempt 38 states gives tax exemptions like this to data centers

Data centers = jobs Data centers = affordability Data centers = growth that outpaces our debt Data centers = infrastructure & schools Data centers = prosperity Stop data center projects in America. We decline & our adversaries take the wheel. Welcome them & America thrives.

Burgum: "We shouldn't even call these 'data centers.' We should call it manufacturing intelligence. There's a concentrated information propaganda war that's geo-targeted. Any place that's trying to build data centers is getting bombarded with foreign-directed propaganda to try to block these from being built."

.tylercowen loves living next to data centers: “I live right next to all the data centers in Northern Virginia. It’s great. They pay for half the taxes in their county.” “The energy, the YIMBY, all that. I’m completely for it." "The chips? Bring it on.”

$Fetterman, while advocating for data centers, claims that data centers uses 0.01% of water unlike a car wash. "That's definitely not consuming all of our water. It's a tiny tiny fraction." He also says anti-data centers messaging is coming from the Chinese.$

Why should Illinois families pay higher electric bills so Big Tech can run data centers? They should pay for their own power. In fact, they should be helping lower your utility bill.
