Today we're introducing Postman Fabric Gateway—an AI-native agent gateway. Here's why it matters: agents will consume APIs at several orders of magnitude beyond traditional apps. Traditional API Gateways are not designed for AI agents. While many legacy vendors have tried to support agentic workloads, Postman customers have been asking us about something that is AI-native and doesn’t have the baggage of pre-AI architecture. Postman Fabric has been designed from the ground-up for agents with support for MCPs, CLIs, as well as APIs - both AI and deterministic APIs. You can release 1,000 games on Roblox, but if they're all this low quality, none of them are going to succeed. Use AI for the programming all you want, but it won't save a game that's fundamentally bad. There are plenty of successful games that use AI as part of the development process, but they still have someone with a solid understanding of programming and game design guiding the AI toward a quality product. AI is a tool, not a replacement for good judgment or experience. If the game itself isn't fun, polished, or well designed, it simply isn't going to do well.

Postman is going all-in on AI! Their AI Agent Builder is live (and it's pretty powerful!) Postman's API Network has 100,000+ APIs and they just released a suite of tools for building AI Agents that can automatically discover and connect to any of these APIs. Think about it for a second: You can now build an AI agent that searches the network, discovers an API, processes its documentation, connects to it, and evaluates whether everything worked at the end of the process. This is a huge deal. Every person I know uses the Postman client to work with APIs. Now, they will have access to the AI Agent Builder, a complete suite for designing, building, testing, and deploying agents. I've built a few simple agents myself, and it's tough. The ability to discover and use an API automatically is really exciting (and a huge time saver if it works as promised!) I have played this game for a week or two now and my favorite part has to be engaging and interacting with the NPCs on any topic or conversation. At every stage of a business there are "leaks" or "optimizers" that can either SAVE or increase revenue. For example for a construction company think of all the steps to make money Attracting a client, closing a client, legal agreements, contractor hiring, materials/tool cost, engineers, landscaping, project management. At each of these stages there is a way to save them or make them money. For example if you had an AI bot that automatically kept tabs on and reported on the cheapest materials on the market and bought them for the company you'd cut logistics, material cost etc... On a 10 million $$ job that is 50-100k+. You can then easily charge 5-10k for access to the AI. EVERY business works in these ways and has its own set of unique "breakage points" This video is how I find them and develop software for them.

An engineer at Block (formerly Square) has an AI agent watching his screen all day. The engineer will discuss a feature with a colleague on Slack. A few hours later, the agent has already built the feature and opened a PR. This isn't some distant AI future. It's happening now, thanks to the work Block has done building their own internal (and open-source) AI agent called "Goose." I sat down with Dhanji Prasanna, CTO at Block, to understand how they're achieving what most companies are still trying to figure out. Engineers using Goose report saving 8-10 hours per week. Across the entire company—including support, legal, and risk teams—they're saving 20-25% of manual hours, which equates to over 100,000 hours per week (!!!). The most surprising finding: non-technical teams are the ones seeing the most productivity gains. Their enterprise risk management team built an entire self-service system, compressing weeks of work into hours. No waiting for Q2 roadmaps or internal apps teams. Dhanji walked me through their full transformation—from convincing Jack Dorsey with an "AI manifesto" to reorganizing from GMs to functional structure to shipping Goose as open source.
