Updated Long Range Forecast For the Southwest Monsoon Seasonal Rainfall during 2025 Quantitatively, the southwest monsoon seasonal (June to September, 2025) rainfall over the country as a whole is likely to be 106% of LPA (Long Period Average) with a model error of ± 4% This indicates that above normal rainfall is most likely to occur over the country as a whole during the monsoon season (June to September, 2025). 📍 New Delhi Today marks a historic milestone in India’s road infrastructure, as our nation becomes the first in the world to commercially produce bio-bitumen. My heartfelt congratulations to CSIR and its dedicated scientists, and my sincere thanks to Union MoS Shri Dr Jitendra Singh Ji for his constant support in making this breakthrough possible. Their pioneering work, “From Farm Residue to Road: Bio-Bitumen via Pyrolysis,” is a shining example of how agricultural waste can be transformed into a valuable national resource. Bio-bitumen is a transformative initiative supporting our vision of a #ViksitBharat2047. By utilising agro-waste, it helps reduce pollution from crop burning while strengthening the circular economy. With 15% blending, India can save nearly ₹4,500 crore in foreign exchange and significantly reduce dependence on imported crude oil. #WATCH | Delhi: On the sidelines of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2026, Dr Muaviyath Mohamed, Minister of State within the Ministry of Tourism and Environment in the Maldives, says, "At this summit, there are a lot of heads of state, ministers, and high-level officials from different countries and multinational organisations. So this is a good opportunity to talk with delegations of people from other parts of the world who are having similar issues and taking our concerns to authorities or at the multilateral level, so that we can get solutions to our issues, particularly because these are trans-boundary and multinational issues that we have to find solutions to in cooperation with other countries and other multinational organisations. This is a good opportunity to network and work together with other people and institutions with similar issues." He adds, "Here I'll be meeting the Indian counterpart at other institutions as well. Because we are having similar issues in some areas... We have been working on environmental and sustainable development... We have to work together with our counterparts, countries, and organisations so that we can achieve our aims and goals. In that context, India and the Maldives have been working on similar projects for a long time. India has been a reliable partner. In 2023, a young girl dressed up as me for her school fancy dress competition. I asked for help finding her and her family – eventually discovering – she was from Pondicherry – a famous educational area of South East India - thousands of kilometers south of the rescue. She attends the Aditya Vidyashram Resenditial School and she has multiple generations of her loving family around her. I promised her father Mano Sundar that when I next returned to India I would visit her and her school. It has taken me a year to return to India – I kept my promise -and travelled to her school and home to pay my respects. Her schools founder is an engineer. Children notice what we do as adults. Our good deeds can lead the way and give them joy and hope for a better world. Our actions teach the children – let’s inspire them – together. Bryson DeChambeau hosted a clinic today at the International Series India for hundreds of Indian golf fans of all ages. He said about his motivation to travel to the country and play at DLF Golf and Country Club this week: “The ability for golf as really a young sport, but changing from an older sport into a young sport to showcase what golf can mean for the future generations of India. That's always inspired me. My mission in the game of golf is to first off, inspire, entertain, and a subtle part of it is educate as well. “Educate, entertain, inspire is my main three principles of why I play the game of golf. “I think this is an amazing opportunity for all of golf to come together and see what India can truly produce for the world. And it's a growing economy, it's a growing population that needs golf. There's a lot more to come, so that's why I'm here.” There is a real buzz around the venue, that only hosting a reigning major champion of Bryson DeChambeau’s stature can achieve. Young people all across the globe getting the opportunity to see him play up close and personal is an experience they will never forget. Col. kaushalendra singh in their Monks and Warriors YouTube channel- Captain Praveen Thapa of the 21 Para SF revealed that the Kuki National Army (KNA), a Kuki militant group under the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with the गृहमंत्री कार्यालय, HMO India had conducted joint operations along with the Indian Army against other insurgent groups in NE India particularly Manipur. Retd Major Maj Digvijay Singh Rawat, Kirti Chakra (Retd) was also a part of 21 Para SF. This might also be one of the main reasons why the Indian Army & GOI is reluctant to act against Kuki militants who have repeatedly violated SoO ground rules and why the गृहमंत्री कार्यालय, HMO India continues to renew the SoO agreement despite strong opposition from the common people of Manipur. 🚨PAKISTAN🇵🇰 AND INDIA🇮🇳 AT WAR AGAIN ☢️ A Rutgers University study estimated that if India and Pakistan were to strike each other’s population centres with 250 nuclear weapons, with a yield of 100 kilotons each, an estimated 127 million people would be killed in South Asia from just the explosions, fires, and radiation. Unless the great powers such as China🇨🇳 and Russia🇷🇺 can mediate, the nuclear nightmare may become a reality. As we speak, Pakistan and India continue to exchange fire with the hostilities escalating. The path to a multipolar world could face a serious setback with India and Pakistan destroying each other, undoing years of development and plunging the world into an abyss. China’s concern will be the CPEC, the 3000KM Chinese infrastructure network project which runs through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir that is an integral part of the historic Belt & Road Initiative. China will also be concerned with how its thawing relations with India will be affected, as India’s strikes could put China’s investments in Pakistan at risk. The US’🇺🇸 eyes will be on the growing military ties with India, and its bid to turn India into an ally against China, Washington’s next target for sabotage, war and destruction. The US also has close ties with the political and military elites of Pakistan, which aided many of Washington’s dirty wars. India and Pakistan annihilating each other may shift the balance of power back to the old colonial order, led by the US with its loyal vassals in the US, UK, and EU, the same colonial order despised by all in the region. The annihilation of both countries obviously is neither in the interests of India and Pakistan, and it is definitely not in the interests of the multipolar world, which billions around the world need for real economic development, prosperity and security. Let’s hope India and Pakistan step back from the brink of all-out destruction.
