Catching up with China and the US, LG's humanoid robot, KAPEX, was developed jointly with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). It is powered by LG's Exaone visual language model, high-end Korean actuators, and a multi-tactile dexterous hand. The humanoid robot is scheduled to be released in November of this year. A robot withstood −47°C cold and walked 130,000 steps The company Unitree tested its humanoid robot G1 in a high-altitude area of China’s Xinjiang region. At temperatures as low as −47.5°C, the robot walked across snow a distance equivalent to 130,000 steps. Edward Warchocki, Poland's viral humanoid robot, showed up at an apiary in full beekeeper gear - hat, veil, gloves - and the footage that followed turned into one of the funniest robot clips online this year.
