Cam Jurgens has already been effectively shadow benched so I'm not going to sit here on film and destroy him all day. He just physically isn't the same player he used to be and you hate to see it. But look at the asinine design of this play. You...

And Mailata falls down in the middle of the play, and Steen is asked to reach a guy a full gap down, while Kendall is assigned to block a safety or corner? This is the same crap they were doing last year.

So who’s truly to blame here? Is this coaching staff really this stupid? Help me out please because I’ve never seen this level of idiocy

Maybe he was playing concussed. That would explain the rams game.

The motion here effectively takes an eligible receiver out of the play. So couple that with Hurts and you have 2 less offensive players you have to worry about catching or throwing to. Rams just pass off the motion so it’s not purposeful.

I appreciate Cam Jurgens and Landon Dickerson for battling through injuries to bring the Eagles a Super Bowl... But they're both on the HOT SEAT and their jobs should be on the line. If they don't improve, they should get benched for Willie Lampkin and Drew Kendall. Poor play along the interior offensive line KILLED the Eagles offense and run game last year and yesterday, it was once again a huge problem I've been saying it all summer: If the Eagles can be an elite running team in 2026, they'll compete for a Super Bowl. If not, they'll get bounced early in the playoffs. #Eagles

Eagles WR A.J. Brown: "Me personally, I truly believe we've got so many good players on this team and at times you can feel like we're being conservative and I don't think it should be like that...Let your killers do their thing and play fast and play aggressive. Not saying that we haven't been, but me personally that's what I would like. Obviously, we're going to run the ball and we're going to set up the run off the pass and the pass off the run, but we have a lot of good players and we should just let them go."

Judge schedules Nov 4 bond hearing for Lil Durk. This means you will not see a trial on Oct 4. If he gets the bond, it’s huge. Here’s why: You will see a double jeopardy motion to dismiss. That’s going to take a fair amount of time to brief and then for the Judge to decide. Even after it has decided, there will most certainly be an appeal regardless of who wins. So while all that is playing out if you are out on bond, you are winning. And now it makes sense why we didn’t see such a fast pond motion. Do you want to take your time and get this motion together as fully and completely as you can in terms of the bond package, the Security that’s gonna monitor him, and the legal arguments for why the bond should be granted. Also, you want the judge to be looking at the motion to dismiss at the same time as the bond motion if you were the defendant and by taking your time you have allowed yourself to do that.

Eagles vs Patriots Day 2 Win/Loss Verdict: The Eagles bounce back and WIN Day 2 This was a win that came from the attitude they showed up to practice with. Coming off of a loss on Day 1 they clearly were ready to play better on Day 2. The defense huddled up before they took the field and then went out and made some huge plays to win the day The first big play was by Tariq Woolen, who was the MVP of the day. Woolen picked off Drake Maye in the front corner of the end zone on a pass intended for AJ Brown. Woolen then high-stepped his way down the field for a pick-six Woolen then made probably the play of the day in the biggest drill. With everyone watching the Maye completed a pass to AJ but Woolen ripped it out of his hands, popping it up into the sky before Jaylx Hunt dove to intercept it, ending the Patriots drive After that it was the offense’s turn Hurts and the first-team offense couldn’t get anything going on Day 1 in the biggest drill of the day but they put together an awesome drive to score a TD on Day 2 First Hurts hit Dallas Goedert for a short gain over the middle. Then he hit Wicks to get the Eagles to the 5-yard line on a crossing route. Then, after a near TD to Hollywood Brown, Hurts found Brown on the next play in the back of the end zone for the TD, cementing the win for the Eagles Both teams had to their moments on Day 2 but the Eagles winning the end of the day is why they walked away with the win

The Eagles go verticals against single high on 3rd and 6. It's the look you want but not the situation you want to throw it in (3rd down, 0-3 passing, etc.) CJ Uzomah does get behind his defender, but you are never coming off of AJ Brown for a TE3 once the safety moves to the hash. IDK why Grant Calcaterra wasn't in here instead. TE usage was weird early (Goedert off the field on an I-Formation run, Calcaterra off the field in a passing situation).

AJ Brown says thank you very much for the ring, but this is a new season. He says defenses have adapted to the Eagles offense and they have to adapt and get better. AJ wants to contribute more and be a reason why the Eagles offense gets better

The Eagles are heading back to Buffalo for the first time since 2019, and that stadium will always be tied to one of the most legendary plays in franchise history. It was in 1990 as the ball was on the Eagles’ own 5 yard line. Randall Cunningham is in Hall of Famer Bruce Smith arms in the endzone but instead of taking the safety, he ducks and launches a prayer downfield to Fred Barnett. Barnett goes up, hauls it in, and takes it to the house. That 95 yard touchdown is the second longest play in Eagles history and one of the most iconic moments this team has ever produced.

The Eagles have arrived in Buffalo. A big game for the Eagles to show if they are a real Super Bowl contender. The defense is giving up the fewest points in the NFL over the last seven games, under 15 points a game. And the offense continues to find ways to get better and win with some new concepts and schemes. The Eagles are underdogs for just the second time this year here in Buffalo.

Been watching a ton of Packers film of late... so here's a thread of somethings I expect to see from the Eagles next season. 1) This is classic Packers structure. Under-center play-action with the TE in the backfield opens a huge void in the intermediate middle of the field for that deep in. The QB has to hit his back foot and let it rip. That kind of easy middle-field access is something the Eagles have badly needed.

Eagles/Cardinals 2008 NFC Championship, The End of an Era: Thanks to the 44-6 beatdown vs Dallas, the ’08 Eagles made their most unlikely title game and the matchup looked favorable. A 9–7 Cardinals team the Eagles had blown out by 28 just weeks earlier. But this wasn’t the same game. Larry Fitzgerald was in the middle of a playoff run for the ages, torching the Eagles for 3 TDs as Arizona stormed to a 24–6 halftime lead. Still, these Eagles refused to fold. McNabb threw 3 second half TDs, giving Philly the lead in the 4th quarter, but the defense couldn’t get a stop with the game on the line. Down late, the Eagles had one final chance. A 4th down throw to Kevin Curtis could have extended the comeback but there was no flag on a 50/50 PI and the game was over, Cardinals win 32–25. Adding to the weight of it all: longtime DC Jim Johnson would sadly pass away that offseason, and Brian Dawkins would leave in free agency. The final game for two Eagles icons, and the closing chapter of a great era in Eagles history.

The fateful 4th and 2. The Rams line up in a man pressure look and the best the Eagles can do is an out route to the bottom of the screen and a stop route to the top of the screen. Both operating in isolation and neither an actual good option. So many teams feast on goalline man coverage by putting defenders in conflict. But not the Eagles. No sir. We are going to out talent you or lose and then talk about execution.

Could the Eagles FIRE Nick Sirianni and HIRE John Harbaugh? It's not as crazy as it sounds. Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman value offensive football. They have to be disgusted with how the Eagles' season went with the highest-paid offense in the NFL and Nick Sirianni, who has an offensive background, had no answers for how to fix it. Harbaugh has familiarity with the Eagles and Jeffrey Lurie knows him well. He coached with the Eagles from 1998-2007. Harbaugh could keep Vic Fangio as DC, who has ties to the Harbaugh family and bring on Todd Monken as OC. If the Eagles job opens up, it immediately becomes the best opening in the NFL for Harbaugh. Great owner, elite GM, they're willing to spend and the roster has a bunch of talent. #Eagles
