What we see as an 'orb' is plasma being confined by a magnetic field. These are aneutronic fusion reactors. Aneutronic (radiation free) fusion prevents destruction of the reactor and the charged particles can be used for propulsion. The lines are dark because it's the exhaust from these reactors is xrays beyond the thermal spectrum. The reactors are small, consistent with a high beta concept with a radius of a couple meters.

Before the holiday break, I practiced my Moon 🌖 landing skills for a neuroscience experiment at NASA's Johnson Space Center. I’ll do these sessions before my launch, while on International Space Station, and after returning to Earth 🌍 to better understand the effects of gravitational transitions on an astronauts ability to land on the Moon. More science details below. —————————————————The Manual Piloting study aims to assess the performance of astronauts during simulated lunar landings and to clarify how gravitational transitions may affect piloting capabilities and decision-making. Before, during, and right after their missions, astronauts will complete laptop simulations designed to test their ability to land a virtual spacecraft on the Moon. Cognitive, balance, and others tests conducted during those same times will also help scientists understand how changes in gravity may affect the piloting performance of crew members. Results from this work will allow NASA to create strategies geared toward helping pilots on future exploration missions. This work may also support safety on Earth by improving our understanding of how dizziness and sensory impairments could affect the ability to drive vehicles.

In all four of these great videos from 1970, Laithwaite showed that rotation of a special kind (called "precession") can lift against downward gravity, and even more so when the speed of rotation is increased! We have been using 3-phase power to make disc magnets spin rapidly, around and up a pole. Yet those changes only increase gravitational "potential" energy, and do not act continuously against gravity itself (as we need for a "flying UFO"). None of the systems studied by Laithwaite were "magnetic". He used a power-drill to make his gyroscopes spin. Our 3-phase systems are of course more elegant, but still we can learn a lot about gravity physics, by studying Laithwaite's old results! I will be trying next to incorporate his proven anti-gravity methods into our model devices, but am not yet sure how to do it. It is an "alien IQ test", one might say.
