There has been 50 young girls that have gone missing from the Fairfax, Norfolk, Richmond and areas surrounding DC, there have not been any Amber alerts for them either, most of the girls are black and a lot went missing on the same day which was 8/07/2025 and 8/08/2025

As a nation we cannot accept gun violence as a normal part of American life. Far too many families and communities have been left grieving because of repeated but preventable tragedies. I refuse to accept the status quo. Congress must act – ban assault weapons, strengthen background checks and red flag laws, and stop gun trafficking across state lines. We can, and must, do better for our kids and our communities.

Police officer uses Flock system to give an abuser location data on his victim ----- A San Jose Police officer accessed information on Flock and provided it to a suspect (the officer's family member) in a domestic violence situation, enabling the suspect to locate the victim. These are just a few of the illegal uses of Flock cameras that we find out about. How many "successful and undetected" illegal uses of the Flock system have there been? How many have resulted in sexual violence or even death that we simply don't know about? Sooner or later, we are going to see a death directly tied to the misuse of the Flock camera system. It's only a matter of time.

So does it surprise you to know, there are still tourists on Maui, having a vacation, just kilometres away from the search for bodies and the distribution of aid? Officials in Hawaii and residents are now on social media, urging people to cancel their vacations and stay away from Hawaii at this time. We spoke with Uahikea Maile, Assistant Professor of Indigenous Politics at University of Toronto, with more.
