Some interesting work being applied in Manchester Utd training already by Ruben Amorim and his staff. A tactical attack v defence drill, including a transitional element involving a 30-40m recovery run on a “ball is lost” trigger. Interesting given the research shows that 30-40% of high intensity runs in the Premier League is recovery running (Bradley, 2022) You can see Amorim’s coaches on the sideline using our Sonra Live iPad, which allows for each player’s physical load to be closely monitored across a range of metrics, including max speeds, high speed distance, sprint distance, etc.

In this scenario, people are able to spam the Shockwaves granter giving themselves "infinite" shockwaves, especially players with a macro can exploit this to significantly lag the game intentionally the ruin the experience for others. While it's easy enough to load into the game and adjust the granted stack size to the new number - this is a change we shouldn't have to make super suddenly without a heads up or even knowing it was going to become a problem. An advanced notice on balance changes like this would go a long ways to preventing these issues.

Can reinforcement learning from AI feedback unlock new capabilities in AI agents? Introducing Motif, an LLM-powered method for intrinsic motivation from AI feedback. Motif extracts reward functions from Llama 2's preferences and uses them to train agents with reinforcement learning. On the complex NetHack game, Motif solves previously unsolved tasks without needing any expert demonstrations. Surprisingly, Motif's reward leads to better game score than the one obtained by using the score itself as a reward. Given access to an event captioning mechanism, a few properties make Motif a general method: • it is entirely based on open models • the LLM doesn't need direct access to the environment dynamics (e.g., its source code) • the LLM doesn't need to understand observation and action spaces The best part? Three years. No National Insurance. For Indian nationals working in the UK. Yes — you heard that right. The government’s latest initiative gives foreign workers a three-year free ride while British workers are taxed to the max. Please… make it make sense to me. Does this mean they won’t be using the NHS? Won’t need our infrastructure? Won’t access the very services National Insurance is supposed to fund? Because I think we all know the answer to that — of course they will. So while YOU pay in, they get a tax break. How is that fair to the millions of British workers who are struggling every single day? This isn’t fairness. This isn’t putting our country first. This is the government once again turning its back on its own people. Reform UK says: enough is enough. It’s time for common sense. It’s time to put British people first. Watch. Share. Speak up.
