Plant's voice was unique, but I wouldn't say he was the best. The rare musical talent behind him made him great, IMO. Klaus Mein - Scorpions Lou Gramm - Foreigner And of course, Steve Perry will always be 'the voice.' Plus he had the best hair!

I think that you need to think of this from a BAND standpoint. Greg Allman is GA. Can you imagine another vocalist you want to hear on “Dreams”? There is no such thing as a best vocalist. Except for Paul Rodgers.

Yeah and it's not hard. James Taylor. Led Zeppelin isn't even known for great singing. It's known for really good instrumentation. Drums, bass and guitar parts are legendary. Singing? Not so much.
