There are some that are faster. Some more technical. Most had Jimmy’s accomplishments to build on. I’ve seen them all except Hendrix. None are better than prime Jimmy Page.

Page was the quintessential rock guitarist. He looked cool, produced the best riffs and could play solos with the best of them prior to 1973. But I place Hendrix, Beck and Clapton above him only because he hit the heroin hard and got incredibly sloppy after 1975. Still great tho.

Better at what? All genres or just classic rock? Composing a killer riff with a killer band yes he is in convo for sure there. Lots of exceptional guitar players and Jimmy is certainly in the convo but hard to ever answer this as a guitar junkie. Lots of options here.

There were many good ones, some great. But Page was in a league of his own.
