@LewisHamilton is lying again. He knows that he can fool his ignorant and dvmb fanbase. First of all, McLaren didn't favor Alonso. He got less fuel in quali 8/9 times over 17 races. Second, having more fuel gave advantage over the race. e.g. Schumacher mostly preferred that way

“This year you won Monaco, you won Silverstone, and you won the World Championship. What else is there left to do?” Lando: “I mean, they're really the best ones. Just downhill from here. I would have loved to make my life a bit easier and winning just earlier next time. But it's always more exciting when it kind of goes down to the final race, final few laps. It's more exciting for everyone, for you guys most of all. But I won ones that, again, people have dreamt of winning. There are some of the most incredible ones. The lap I did in Monaco in quali was the only other time, probably in the last 10 years, that I cried a little bit over something. Because there I proved myself wrong. It was one other moment this season that I proved myself wrong. Because I had that bad run of results. I just couldn't perform in qualifying. Qualifying has always been my strong suit, my best. Yeah, it's been my strength since I was in karting. All my qualifying results are my thing and they weren’t at the beginning of the season. So, when I went to the hardest track to do a qualifying lap in, I turned off my delta for the first time that weekend. So, I couldn't see if I was on a better lap, worse lap, whatever it was. It's not been my best track in the past. It was several years ago at the AP station in Gbagada I was working at Anthony Village at the time My car ran out of fuel on my way to work, I drove into AP station and bought 5000 Naira worth of fuel I paid and as I was driving out of the petrol station, the car sputtered and the engine died. I didn’t even consider that it was a fuel issue I thought the car, which was an old BMW had developed a fault. I took a bus to Ketu to get my mechanic We returned together to the car and the mechanic said “Epo lo tan ninu e” I said “No way, see nah, I just bought fuel before the car died here. The man looked at me, said I should give him 2000 Naira He went to another filling station and brought back a Jerry can full of petrol. He poured it into the car and the car started. I started avoiding AP fuel stations from that day

"why? just hard work from my engineers and from myself to improve me as a driver" 👏🏻👏🏻 🗣️: friday night did you think you had the car to win the race? and do you have an explanation of the difference of pace between you and oscar? lando: "no, i didn't think so. especially after fp1, i didn't. actually, andrea wanted to make a bet with me because i was pretty disappointed with the pace and how the car was handling in fp1. it got a bit better in fp2, but still the ferraris were just on another level. and i really didn't expect to get as close as we did in quali. but the wind changed from friday to saturday, and the saturday wind really suited our car a lot more. we had a lot more confidence in driving the car, so i could push more. and then i certainly felt like i could be on pole yesterday, and i felt like i could win a race today. i think today the race pace was much better than i was expecting. the degradation was much better than i was expecting too. but it was probably one of my best performances personally in terms of driving the car. the fact i can keep up with oscar on this kind of track, where it's impossible to follow, impossible to overtake, i was within eight tenths or something for 40 laps almost. the fact i could do this is what gave me confidence that i would win the race no matter what, whether he boxed early or late or whatever. the pace advantage i had was huge today. but i don't know why. the cars are identical. and i've just been feeling very, very strong lately. i've worked on many areas from last year. i feel much more confident lately with how to extract performance. and i worked a lot with my engineers to understand this car, because it's certainly not an easy car to understand and figure out on how to drive on the limit consistently. so why? just hard work from my engineers and from myself to improve me as a driver and improve my driving. and that is the answer"
