Statins Are Deadly & Dangerous. 8 Reasons Why Cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson NEVER Prescribes Statins. 1: Statins cause CoQ10 deficiency, resulting in muscle pain & Mitochondrial Dysfunction, leading to heart attack & stroke. 2: Statins inhibit Heme A, a vital component of the electron transport chain for energy. Crucial for oxygen storage & respiratory function. 3: Statins stop Dolichol, a crucial molecule in protein glycosylation in the brain, deficiency leads to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's & other brain disorders. 4: Statins Lower Cholesterol levels. Vitamin D & all hormones, digestion, Immune System & every cell depends on the saturation of healthy cholesterol. 5: Statins cause Liver Damage. Drug Induced Liver Injury (DILI) with jaundice & abdominal pain. 6: Statins cause Muscle Damage. Breakdown of muscle tissue & profuse tearing resulting in Rhabdomyolysis. 7: Statins cause Brain Damage. Neuroinflammation & Mitochondrial dysfunction resulting in rapid cognitive decline & early onset Alzheimer's. 8: Statins Do Not Lower Cardiovascular Disease, or address the true causes of Cardiovascular Disease. People who are over 65 & on Statins, mortality is increased. Chronic Conditions Caused By Statins: Muscle Pain Muscle Tearing Weakness Neuropathy Heart Failure Dizziness/Vertigo Cognitive Impairment Dementia Alzheimer's Disease Cancer Pancreatitis Liver Damage Diabetes Depression Parkinson's Disease ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Testosterone Deficiency Estrogen Deficiency Brain Damage Multiple Sclerosis A low carbohydrate diet prioritizing nutrient dense animal foods, eliminating harmful seed oils, sugar & processed foods provides the best healthy cholesterol profile. This approach keeps Triglycerides low & HDL high, which is one of the best Biomarkers for Cardiac health. TG/HDL ratio optimally should be less than 1.5

$Why cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson NEVER prescribes statins to his patients: "The need for statins is totally built on lies... The most egregious thing that's ever been committed on the worldwide populace is the idea of taking statin drugs as a health measure." He continues: "Because I would say that statin drugs, not only do they not work in the sense that we would think they work, because they work to lower numbers down, that's for sure. But they don't really reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and dying to meaningful levels." If I didn't make this clear in my original thread: Statins are effective at one thing: lowering cholesterol numbers on a lab report. And they do this extremely well. Despite some saying there are benefits to it as Dr. Wolfson says: "They do have anti-inflammatory properties and can stabilize arterial plaques — which is why mainstream medicine argues they reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and death. But according to a 2022 JAMA meta-analysis, that actual reduction is from 2% to 1.84% annually — a fraction of a point. And that marginal benefit comes at a real cost." That real cost is: 1) Your money 2) Side effects, for example: • Hormone disruption — since cholesterol is a precursor to all sex hormones, blocking its production disrupts hormone balance • Impaired vitamin D synthesis — sunlight converts cholesterol in the skin into vitamin D; less cholesterol means less vitamin D • Weakened bones — they interfere with vitamin K utilization, increasing osteoporosis risk Ultimately, it doesn't address the root cause for heart attacks and strokes which are inflammation, oxidative stress, toxic exposure, poor diet, and sedentary living which lifestyle can solve. Read my thread below to see solutions. (Disclaimer: do not get off your medications without consulting your doctor.)$

🚨 My doctor just spent a full 20 minutes lecturing me on why I had to start statins — all because my cholesterol came back over 200. I’m not buying it. I don’t believe cholesterol is bad like mainstream health claims. I’m rejecting the whole premise. It’s ridiculous how they keep lowering what they call “normal” — what was considered fine just 10 years ago is now suddenly “high.” Cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson NEVER prescribes statins, and here’s exactly why: They inhibit Heme A → disrupts energy production, oxygen storage & respiratory function. They stop Dolichol production → leads to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s & other brain disorders. They lower cholesterol — but your body healthy cholesterol for Vitamin D, all hormones, digestion, immune function & every cell membrane. They cause liver damage (Drug Induced Liver Injury). They cause muscle damage & breakdown (Rhabdomyolysis). They cause brain damage → neuroinflammation & rapid cognitive decline. They do NOT lower cardiovascular disease or fix the real causes. In people over 65, statins actually INCREASE mortality. Who else is tired of doctors pushing statins the second your numbers hit the new “normal”? Drop your experience below 👇

Dr. Aseem Malhotra says the world has been completely misled about statin drugs. “The fear of cholesterol is a multi-billion dollar, probably trillion dollar industry.” “Between 200 million and 1 billion people worldwide — probably at least 30 to 50 million Americans — are taking statins.” “The benefits are not because they lower cholesterol.” “They are there because they have anti-inflammatory and anti-clotting benefits.” “In the highest risk groups, people who’ve had heart attacks and are taking statins, the median increase in life expectancy over a five-year period is just over four days.” “The mass prescription of statins has not had a significant impact on a population level.” Dr Aseem Malhotra (Video from Weekly MAHA Action Media Hub)

The data from this month's ACC meeting is a bit of bombshell. 15 million Americans are taking statins when they likely don't need to, according to cardiologist Dr. Evan Levine and the latest data. "For years, we've been overestimating heart disease risk by 50%." I wonder how many cardiologists are passing this info along to patients and using the new PREVENT calculator?

4/ Statins Statins barely extend life for most, on average just 3–4 days in low-risk groups (Lancet 2005). And the side effects? Up to 29% report muscle pain, weakness, and memory loss. 💊

Science journalist Maryanne Demasi had her ABC career destroyed when she dared question the effectiveness of statins. She found that a deal was struck to ensure the raw data used for the clinical trials be concealed. ‘We now have a situation where the trials that underpin statins have never been independently scrutinised by outside researchers. Despite the fact that millions of people are taking this drug.’ Another Big Pharma rort.

2. "Statins are always the answer for high cholesterol" Diet (omega-3s, fiber) & lifestyle often work better than drugs for many patients. Recent research suggests up to 50% of people on statins could skip them entirely. Big Pharma won't tell you that because pills are profitable, prevention isn't.

Over 40 million Americans take statins, not realizing they’re depleting the “most vital nutrient for the heart.” Statins are pushed to reduce cholesterol, but they also severely deplete CoQ10, a critical compound for energy. And when the body is starved of CoQ10, your cells begin struggling to produce energy. Muscles weaken. Fatigue sets in. And the heart itself can start losing the fuel it depends on to keep beating efficiently. Dr. Stephen Sinatra was a “choir boy for cholesterol” until a 1993 study exposed the unsettling CoQ10-depleting effects of statins. “Didn’t make any sense,” he said. “How could the most vital nutrient for the heart be knocked out of the box? The heart requires COQ10 for survival.” In his own practice, Dr. Sinatra began to notice that he “wasn’t seeing a correlation of heart problems with higher cholesterol.” He eventually concluded everything he thought he knew about cholesterol was a “myth.” “Cholesterol is not the villain of heart health” we’ve been told. 🧵

Dr. Aseem Malhotra says even President Trump is likely misinformed about statins. For a healthy man over 75 with no significant heart disease, the benefit is just 1 in 446 to prevent one heart attack. Globally, 200 million to 1 billion people take these drugs. For low-risk people, the absolute benefit over 5 years is only about 1%. In primary prevention, statins have an NNT of around 100+ to prevent one major cardiovascular event, while side effects affect 10–20% of users. Do you think we over-rely on statins for heart disease prevention?
