In a cast Q&A interview, director Curry Barker confirmed that there was a scene cut from the script/movie where Ian tells Bear that he saw Nikki crying in the break room at Cassell’s Music (their workplace), but it isn’t revealed to the audience as to why. Barker revealed that the real reason why Nikki was crying in the break room is that Ian had just recently told her that he wants to end their casual relationship. Barker also revealed that when Nikki said to Bear that “he is the only person she can talk to” and that “he’s not a complete brick wall”, she was subtly referring to what’s like when she’s trying to interact with Ian. This confirms the validity of how the real Nikki felt that she could actually share more of a connection with Bear(before he made the wish), and that she was hoping Bear could give her that pure tenderness, devotion, and love that she couldn’t get with Ian. #Obsession #ObsessionMovie

Amrish Puri was an extraordinary actor, especially in character roles. For most of his career, he was cast in villain parts in commercial cinema, which sadly made many overlook his range and deep theatre-rooted craft. This is one of his finest performances, Virasat. I think it was Priyadarshan’s last serious film; after this came Hera Pheri, and much of his later work leaned towards comedy. Don’t miss the 1 minute 20-second continuous-shot scene.

WHY YOU SHOULD HATE OBSESSION? HERE'S WHY. Iactually concept is good But my main issue is that almost every character is unbelievably dumb, and it completely ruined the movie for me. I understand that the main guy (Bear) is somewhat a bad person especially after the scene where he knew the real Nikki was trapped and was basically being tortured, he was still incredibly selfish cuz part of him enjoyed the attention and obsession. Fine. But some of the decisions in this movie were very very frustrating. 1. Why did he never think about using the one wish sooner? The store owner literally told him it was rare, and even after that insane phone call he still didn’t consider it. 2. Why did nobody react to her behavior during the boys night? She was acting completely unhinged and started hurting herself and everyone just moved on like nothing happened. 3. I actually liked the taped door scene, but nothing came from it. He never talks to anyone about it and it never develops 4. How did Bear not tell anyone about the memorial she made for his cat or the fact that she literally cooked it? Sarah was right there and still nothing?? 5. Why does nobody acknowledge how creepy her constant staring at Bear is? 6. Why would Bear ever agree to meet Sarah after what happened at boys night and after Nikki acknowledged that she is jealous of Sarah? That was painfully obvious. 7. After EVERYTHING that happened, Bear still refuses to properly explain things to anyone. And when he finally talks to Ian, he does the worst job imaginable. He doesn’t show proof, doesn’t explain that she killed Sarah, and somehow expects Ian to believe him. Then Ian gets the billion dollars, still doesn’t believe him, and immediately runs to the house screaming (even after Bear warned him not to) that the wish came true when bear was literally right there? How did Bear never once call the cops or a mental hospital throughout the entire movie? After everything that happened, any normal person would’ve done that immediately. It honestly would’ve been more interesting if the cops showed up and *he* ended up looking insane. In the final scene, after all that chaos, instead of calming her down and immediately getting her to make a wish, his first priority is “we need to clean up”? Another problem is that most of the twists become incredibly predictable because the characters are written so irrationally. Half the suspense disappears because you can see every bad decision coming from a mile away. The movie had so much potential, but the writing of the characters completely ruined it for me.. PEOPLE WHO HYPE SUCH MOVIES ARE DUMB. THAT'S IT.

EPRA Called Into Question Over Case of Adulterated Fuel at Total Njabini A distressed motorist has reached out claiming that her vehicle broke down after fueling at Total Njabini, alleging that the diesel purchased was adulterated, leading to a harrowing night of mechanical failures and frantic repairs. Here is her account of the seven-hour ordeal in Kinangop. "Hi Nyakundi. This was the Saturday 30th Incident. 3:51 pm - Fueled at Total Njabini. Full tank. I trust Total. 3:59 pm - Dashboard prompts “Drain water from fuel filter.” I stopped for a few minutes, but the alert did not disappear. I thought maybe it was kidogo maji or a sensor issue. 4:05 pm - Arrived at my destination near Karima Girls. About 2 km from Ndunyu Njeru. 9:00 pm - Time to start my journey back to Nairobi. Hell broke loose. After ignition, the engine vibrated violently! Same error: “Drain water from fuel filter.” Normally, this is something you can do on your own. After several attempts without success, we resolved to engage a mechanic. It was now past 10:00 pm. Hapa nikutafuta mechanic hadi kwao home. 11:00 pm - Mechanic arrives. Manages to empty the fuel filter and drain everything that was already in the system. Miraculously, the vehicle ignites. Happily, we leave the scene. 100 m from the scene, the car loses power and stops 😨. It’s now almost midnight. Stuck deep inside Kinangop, traumatized, frustrated, and helpless. 12:00 midnight - Another major decision: drain the fuel tank. Every drop of it. Everything now smells like kerosene. The fuel was adulterated; it was actually more kerosene than diesel, plus water. Now we need fuel to refuel once we empty the tank. Huku, petrol stations hufungwa by 8:00 pm. Some nduthi guy went all the way to Kwa Haraka and got us some 20 l. Attempts to siphon fuel using a pipe were not successful. Mechanic didn’t anticipate he would need to remove the entire fuel tank, so hana tools. He had to rush home to bring them. 1:00 am - Mechanic came back. Removed the entire fuel tank with 80 l of fuel. Spent almost an hour. The pain of watching your fuel tank being removed past midnight by a stranger, unsure whether he could fix it back properly, was horrific. But did I have a choice? 2:00 am - Mechanic returns the fuel tank. Using a makeshift funnel, we refueled. Now it was the moment of truth. Madam akisha, wolaaaa! The engine ignites. Everyone claps 👏. Waters, alongside Undersheriff Shawn Coarsey, joined Chief of Investigation Alan Parker to provide details leading up to the murder of one of our Corrections Officers. During the commotion, off-duty Corrections Officer Bradley McNew #7697, who just finished his shift, heard the disturbance and went to check on the female victim. The suspect approached Officer McNew, stating it was a family matter, then re-engaged with the female before pointing the gun in Officer McNew’s direction. The suspect and female eventually returned to the vehicle. As they left the scene, the suspect was observed hanging out of the window, firing the firearm, and ultimately striking Officer McNew.
