that looks way too cool, and the fact that the animation looks nice no matter the angle must've been hard to pull °°

it's primarily drawn with math! The angle of the rope is all accounted for in the shader logic and the blade itself is just rotated within Godot. while it's not true pixel perfect as the square pixels of the blade aren't properly orthoganal to the rest of the pixel art, it goes by so fast it's not too jarring to look at

oooh okay I get it ! I actually thought it was the same animation asset tilted depending on the angle but I didn't take into account the distance parameter 😅, smart way to deal with it ! thanks for the explanation 😊
