The Celtics have broken the Kings, who are once again proving to be far too small. Not enough size, particularly with help defense. And not enough rebounding. Bad sign to lose like this against Boston on the second night of a road back-to-back without two of its best players. It should be obvious at this point the Kings are a great regular season team but not equipped to win against NBA Finals contenders, which Sacramento won't be without making a big move.

Imagine qualifying as a doctor in the UK, only to be told there is no NHS training job for you in your home country. That is the reality facing thousands of UK medical graduates. The taxpayer invests in medical education. Medical graduates complete a five to six year demanding medical degree, graduate with debts often exceeding £100,000, and commit themselves to serving patients in the NHS. Yet in 2025, more than 40,000 applicants applied for just 10,000 specialty training jobs. Some doctors end up unemployed because they cannot find jobs as fully qualified doctors. These training posts are not optional extras. They are the route to becoming the specialist Consultants and GPs our NHS depends on. Without them, doctors cannot progress in their careers and patients ultimately lose future specialists. Yet UK medical graduates are not being prioritised for these NHS training jobs. Prioritising UK medical graduates for speciality training jobs is coherent workforce planning. At the same time, there must be safeguards for international doctors with significant NHS experience who are already contributing to patient care. Right now, the system satisfies no one. It creates unemployment, fuels insecurity, and weakens the future medical workforce. That is not sustainable and it must change.

Last week, the Prime Minister said the world “will not tolerate any more excuses” on aid not being delivered to Gaza. Since then, Palestinian children in Gaza have continued to be bombed, shot, starved and besieged by Israeli forces. They are being systematically denied the very basic means for their survival. And now they face losing one of their few remaining lifelines. UNRWA is the backbone of an already crippled aid response, supplying food and water to children and families who have nowhere else to turn. Unilaterally criminalising UNRWA, its activities, and its staff is unconscionable. Keir Starmer, your words are meaningless without action. The UK must do everything in its power to ensure UNRWA can continue to deliver its lifesaving services, and to end this war on children. This includes securing an immediate, definitive ceasefire and suspending all arms to Israel.

This is a formal warning to the City of Chicago City of Chicago and to the entities that operate Daley Plaza Daley Center, Public Building Commission and Transwestern. The Serbian community has deep roots in this city since its earliest days. Chicagoland is home to the largest Serbian community outside of Serbia and the Balkans. We are a huge, longstanding, and proud community in this city and we will not accept being disregarded or insulted. Without any consultation with our community, a decision was made to raise the flag of the terrorist and criminal “Republic of Kosovo” at Daley Plaza. This is an occupied territory that remains deeply painful for the Serbian people as this land is the centerpiece of our religion, culture and identity. For our community, this act is not symbolic or fun, it is a political statement that directly insults us. This action is unacceptable. If this terrorist flag of so called Republic of Kosovo is raised again in our city without dialogue or consideration of our community, you should expect a highly visible public protest at levels you’ve never seen before. We demand that this issue be addressed immediately. Engage with our community. Show respect for the people who have built this city. Do not repeat this mistake. Do not think to insult us like this ever again.
