You know what, have they tested the device in maybe like a crowded environments, like a restaurant, or cocktail party. So in the future, it probably could handle a higher volume of users? Tesla unsupervised Tesla Robotaxi hitting and going through bollards. Is this the first recorded instance of an unsupervised robotaxi hitting an object? It was supposed to go around it. I’ve had a critical disengagement once here too with my car. Holy shit wasn’t expecting it to just go through. Luckily there was no damage to the bollards or the car. People have run them over too in front of me but wasn’t expecting the robotaxi to do it. Will this be in the NHTSA report?? I don’t think this can be considered an “accident”

And while this is being proposed under BusConnects, it will take some time for this to be built, and so an interim solution will soon be implemented by the local councils. Myself and Feljin Jose have been working on this in recent years and will be looking for feedback on the interim solution once it's implemented in a few weeks time. Watch this space!
