🚨 DANAI GURIRA GOES OFF ON MARVEL: “BLACK PANTHER IS NOT DEAD!” In an interview, Danai Gurira accuses Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige of deliberately sidelining the Black Panther franchise, claiming the studio has been looking for ways to reduce Wakanda’s importance since the demise of Chadwick Boseman. “They started sidelining Black Panther after Chadwick Boseman passed. The message was basically, ‘There’s no man left to carry this role.’ But that is completely wrong. Black Panther was never supposed to be about one man. It was about Wakanda, its legacy and the people who carry that mantle.” She allegedly took an even stronger shot at Marvel and Robert Downey Jr.: “If Marvel can bring Robert Downey Jr. back into the universe in a completely different role, then don’t tell me there’s nobody capable of carrying Black Panther forward. Recently I met him at the CoE during the Duleep Trophy and he looked very fit so I asked him to stay like that and keep playing.
