@CMofKarnataka Without cloverleaf the underpass will have traffic jams in future. Vehicles coming from the city need to take U turn and enter MAR. Vehicles coming from Magadi road moving towards Mysore have to take a right turn on the service road and move to the left service road under flyover

@CMofKarnataka Nice work fellas. The vehicular movement shown here in NPKL layout is only for representation purpose. The area is deserted. Not populated. Those who already have houses/sites are the ones owning plots here. Those who want houses are still roaming the streets with brokers.

Mumbai Moves Forward! The final link of the Santacruz–Chembur Link Road is now open, completing the integrated 10.30-km SCLR network between the Eastern Express Highway and the Western Express Highway. The 1.40-km Bharat Nagar Road (University Area)–Vakola Junction Elevated Corridor, built under SCLR Extension Phase II, marks the final and critical link in a network developed progressively since the original SCLR opened. With the Phase I extensions and the completion of Phase II, the SCLR network now provides end-to-end signal-free east–west connectivity across: EEH → Chembur → Tilak Nagar → Kapadia Nagar → Kurla → Kalina → BKC → Mumbai University → Vakola → WEH The newly opened elevated corridor establishes seamless two-way connectivity between BKC and the WEH. Traffic from BKC will merge directly with the SCLR cable-stayed bridge, while traffic from the WEH will move from the existing Vakola Flyover onto the new elevated corridor. The completed network will help motorists bypass Kalina, Vakola and Kalanagar, with travel time expected to reduce by approximately 35 minutes on key journeys. It will also strengthen access to BKC, Mumbai University, Mumbai International Airport, major commercial hubs and surrounding residential areas, while improving commuter convenience, road safety and overall travel efficiency, and helping reduce congestion, fuel consumption, operating costs and vehicular emissions. One network. One seamless corridor. Major Project Update: Thane Coastal Road-1 crosses 40% completion milestone in 14 months Thane Coastal Road-1 is advancing at a strong pace, with foundation work, pier-cap casting and I-girder erection progressing rapidly across the corridor. As of September 2, 40 per cent of the project's work has been completed, with 77% (332 of 426) working piles completed and 65% of piers (277/426) and 460 pier caps cast already. The I-girder erection has also progressing rapidly with 501 out of 1,632 (approx 30%) girders already erected. Also, 13 deck-slab spans have been completed. 👉 The 13.45 km, six-lane, access-controlled greenfield corridor, coming up between Kharegaon Toll Naka and Gaimukh, is being built using cutting-edge engineering. For the first time in India, a greenfield road project is using a single-pile, single-pier system with monopile foundations on land. 👉 Designed as a strategic freight corridor, the project will decongest Ghodbunder Road and improve connectivity between NH-160 (Mumbai–Nashik Highway) and Gaimukh along the Thane Creek coastline, with major stretches on viaducts and bridges to safeguard the sensitive mangrove ecosystem. It will provide faster, safer and more convenient connectivity for traffic travelling towards Thane, Nashik, Bhiwandi, Gujarat, and North India. The project comprises a 240 m long creek bridge and an 8.11 km long elevated road passing through mangrove areas. A 40 to 45 m wide Development Plan (DP) road has been reserved for the project, which will facilitate segregation of local and inter-city traffic on Ghodbunder Road. 👉 Further at Gaimukh, the road will directly connect with the upcoming Gaimukh–Fountain Hotel Tunnel, enabling seamless Thane–Bhayander connectivity. Together, these projects will significantly decongest Ghodbunder Road, transform urban mobility in Thane, and strengthen freight movement towards Wadhawan Port, JNPT, South Maharashtra, and Karnataka. 👉 The corridor will also integrate with key future infrastructure projects including the Thane Ring Metro, Thane Coastal Road-2, the Saket–Amane Elevated Corridor, and the Kasarvadavali–Kharbhav Road, cementing its role as a critical backbone of the region’s next-generation transport network. #ThaneCoastalRoad #MMRDA #InfrastructureIndia #MumbaiInMinutes #ReimaginingMMR #TransformingMMR #UrbanMobility #BuildingTheFuture #MumbaiMetropolitanRegion #TransportInfrastructure #FastForward CMO Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis Eknath Shinde - एकनाथ शिंदे Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee MAHARASHTRA DGIPR PIB India Press Trust of India

Dear Shri Shivanna avarey, PLEASE DONT LIE. PLEASE DONT LIE. Dear Deccan Herald , please ask him to stop misleading the public. Shivanna’s claim is a blatant lie. The evidence is right there. Look at the footage showing the appalling condition of the Doddamara road, Rayasandra–Guttahalli road and Gattahalli–Doddakannelli roads. Look at how a physically challenged person is forced to navigate this stretch. This is the reality residents are facing every day. Yes, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw Mohandas Pai may be a billionaire, but that doesn’t stop them from supporting humanitarian causes and standing up for people who genuinely need help. And, Shri Shivanna, let’s not rewrite history. When residents came to meet you about their problems, you told them to approach the BJP MP and even questioned why they had not voted for you. (Yesterday, you came for the inauguration of a small lane road, but you couldn’t find the time to visit these major stretches and witness their pathetic condition firsthand.) Please don’t lie to the people you are supposed to represent. Residents deserve accountability, action and the truth, not excuses and political blame games. Truth will prevail. Triumph always wins. Girl Student’s Clip Exposes Bengaluru’s Broken Roads, Missed Classes and Injuries Today morning, Bengaluru witnessed yet shocking incident: a school bus toppled over on the Panathur–Balagere stretch. The reason? Our “world-class” roads riddled with potholes, craters, and poor maintenance. Fortunately, the students managed to escape through the back door, but the incident could have been far worse. Soon after, a video surfaced from another group of students travelling in their own school bus. In it, they spoke about the deplorable condition of Bengaluru’s roads and the ordeal they go through every single day. According to them, they spend more time bouncing around in buses than sitting in classrooms, thanks to endless traffic jams and delayed schedules. Their extracurricular activities are postponed, their study time is cut short, and their safety is constantly at risk. The irony? While making the video, their phone actually slipped from their hands not because of negligence, but because the bus lurched violently over yet another pothole. Students even claim to have sustained injuries due to the constant bumps and jolts. And yet, despite repeated promises from Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and the @GBAoffic about fixing Bengaluru’s infrastructure, school buses still feel like off-road rally vehicles. For a city proudly calling itself the “Silicon Valley of India,” our roads seem better suited for adventure sports than for carrying children. Maybe it’s time, DK Shivakumar,Siddaramaiah experience a few of these bumpy rides themselves perhaps then the potholes will finally disappear. Karnataka State Police S. So, this is one of the most detailed videos of the Lagos Blue Line phase 2. It’s quite lengthy, but I encourage you to watch it till the end. The prioritisation of Rail transportation by the Sanwo-Olu-led administration is beautiful to see. This particular corridor is a major international trading corridor, with many Nigerian and Asian traders operating along it. Even the road you see is expected to be transformed into a 10-lane superhighway, which the governor has already hinted at. That is why some areas, including sections occupied by traders, are being cleared. The Blue Line runs from Marina to Okokomaiko. The first phase is already operational, while work on the second phase is ongoing. The extension will serve stations at Mile 2, Festac, Alakija, Volkswagen, Alaba International Market, Trade Fair, LASU and Okokomaiko. These stations will serve traders, 9-to-5 workers, small businesses, visitors and residents along the corridor. The line covers LG areas including Amuwo-Odofin, Ojo, Oriade and Orile Iganmu, among others. Many people living along this corridor commute daily to work on the Island, while others depend on the major markets along the route. I really commend the government for this multi-billion-dollar investment in rail transportation. However, rail does not replace road infrastructure. The next administration must make road rehabilitation a major priority. In the first four years, there should be a determined effort to get Lagos roads into best conditions. Why? Because many rail users are 9-to-5 workers, small business owners and visitors, but major investors, CEOs and top executives will still drive. When you bring investors into a city, the roads, environment, landscaping, greenery, public spaces and overall appearance all matter. The Green Line is another example. Its Phase 1A will have about eight stations, with flyovers and pedestrian infrastructure helping to separate road traffic and pedestrian movement from the rail corridor totally 8 U shaped Flyovers and Pedestrian sky walks. The more quality road infrastructure we have, the better the quality of life in Lagos. This is why the next administration should prioritise roads, bridges, public transportation, cleanliness, beautification and public spaces together. Ensure the BRT works properly, ensure the trains run efficiently, but please don't neglect the environment. Sometimes Govt wonder why Lagosians don't appreciate government projects despite the huge investments being made. The answer is simple: people judge government by how their quality of life changes in real time. Lagos has a massive population and serious congestion problems. Every new road, bridge, flyover, public space or environmental improvement directly affects millions of people. Every government must study its environment and understand what its people actually need. In Lagos, road infrastructure is not a luxury,it is one of our biggest needs. So I want to encourage the government to start flagging off more road projects urgently, continue the bridges that have already started, and find ways to fund and complete them quickly eg the VGC Bridge. If we can combine the Green Line, Blue Line, Red Line, BRT, new roads, bridges, flyovers and a cleaner, better-maintained environment, the quality of life in Lagos will skyrocket. This government is doing a lot. Let’s get the remaining basics right too. God bless our government, and God bless the good people of Lagos. 🙏🏾🇳🇬 Babajide Sanwo-Olu Obafemi Hamzat Damilola Sonayon James Seyi Tinubu ENIOLA BADMUS I am Dayo Amusa Lagos Min of the Environment and Water Resources The Lagos State Govt LASEPA Oluwaseun Osiyemi Tokunbo Wahab Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure Funke Akindele Oluwaseun Osiyemi Kolawole Ojelabi Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority LAMATA LAWMA LAWMA Customer Care 📷: A detailed documentary of the Lagos Blue Line phase 2 running from Mile 2- Okoko 🚅

The ₹18,500 Cr Tunnel Scam is not a mobility solution, it's a world-class corruption project by the Congress Govt in the state led by CM Siddaramaiah & DCM DK Shivakumar. It aims to serve the 10% car owning elite while burdening 90% of taxpayers who await better public transport. Here’s why: 1. Built for cars, not the city As per IISc data: - Tunnel (cars only): 600-1600 people/hour - Tunnel (with 2Ws): 7,500 people/hour - Metro (same corridor): 25,000 people/hour Yet, the govt wants to spend taxpayer money on a project for less than 10% who own private cars. This is perhaps only going to benefit the crorepatis of Sadashivnagar & Koramangala 4th block & not the common man. 2. BBMP's ₹9.5 Cr Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V DPR job BBMP paid a hefty sum of public money to allegedly debarred consultants for a bogus feasibility report. Some blatant irregularities in their reports - - Feasibility report created after Jan 2024, uses traffic survey images from Aug 2023 - Traffic junction photo from 2019 appears in a 2024 report. - Even worse, the reports refer to Malegaon-Nashik in Maharashtra while analyzing Bengaluru's traffic! This isn't planning, it's daylight robbery. It's a Rs 9.5 Cr fraud paid for with hard earned taxpayers money. 3. India’s most expensive road per km. If executed, the ₹18,500 crore Tunnel Road will be the most expensive road per kilometre in the world. Will they build it with golden bricks? Why this vanity White Elephant? For perspective: - Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway: ₹8,500 Cr for 119 km (6 lanes) - Atal Tunnel: ₹3,000 Cr for 9 km through the Himalayas - Mumbai Coastal Road: ₹13,000 Cr for 29.2 km with undersea tunnel - Kerala Coastal Highway: ₹6,500 Cr for 625 km with multiple tunnels - KR Puram–Silk Board Metro: ₹5,500 Cr for 18 km with 13 stations Congress wants ₹18,500 Cr for just 18 km, only for cars. Bengaluru’s future is being mortgaged for a vanity project that serves contractors, not its citizens. We will oppose this scam in the streets, in the courts, and in the Vidhana Soudha & Parliament. Bengaluru & Bengalureans deserve better! #SayNoToTunnelRoads

4 hours. Two massive trusses. One major step forward for Mumbai’s next high-speed road corridor. MMRDA has achieved a major construction milestone on the 13.9-km Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension (EFE), with the successful erection of the two Main Trusses of its Segment Launcher, each 59 metres long and weighing 160 tonnes, on the busy Eastern Express Highway. The entire complex operation was completed within a record 4-hour window, with the actual erection of both trusses taking just 1 hour. The operation was executed through meticulous planning, stringent safety measures and seamless coordination between MMRDA and the Mumbai Traffic Police. So, what happens next? With the Main Trusses now in place, the Segment Launcher will begin erecting 1,632 precast segments, each weighing approximately 90 MT, span by span. These will form the 25-metre-wide single-cell segment superstructure, accelerating viaduct construction and taking the project into its next major phase. And what does this mean for Mumbai? The EFE is a fully elevated, 6-lane high-speed corridor connecting Anand Nagar in Thane with Chheda Nagar in Ghatkopar, designed to create a faster, more reliable route while easing congestion on the Eastern Express Highway, one of Mumbai’s busiest transport corridors. Once completed, the EFE is expected to reduce travel time between South Mumbai and Thane to approximately 20–25 minutes, making everyday journeys faster while strengthening connectivity across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. We aim to make every departure and return a moment to look forward to. The upgraded terminal will elevate MMIA to an international platform, establishing it as a leading aviation hub in West Africa and a source of national pride that meets the highest global standards.
