Ive been impressed by this project, would you build a full blown app with it like a PWA for a phone? Assuming we get the same performance benefits for the phone and laptop inside the browser or is this really made for other devices? it almost seems like a great place to start for an OS

I "ported" hashcat to the GBA, the ultimate password cracking rig ever (my dumbest project yet). The monstrously powerful 16.78 MHz ARM7TDMI chip does an astronomical 727 SHA256 hashes per second!! which is about thirty million times slower than a modern cracking rig. 350 days of continuous cracking on this bad boy could be done in about 1 second with a modern GPU-accelerated cracking rig.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has a serious performance problem The Galaxy Z Fold 8 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. On the S26 Ultra, this chip scores around 3,102 single-core and 10,405 multi-core in Geekbench 7. On my Fold 8, with no apps running in the background, I only got 2,825 / 7,997. Then I used the phone normally for just 5 minutes. No gaming, no heavy workloads, just everyday apps. I ran Geekbench 7 again: 2,595 single-core / 6,637 multi-core. Compared with the S26 Ultra, multi-core performance dropped by 36%. And here's an even more brutal comparison: both the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo are flagship foldables. The A20 Pro can score around 11,460 multi-core, meaning my Fold 8 after five minutes of normal use was delivering only 58% of the A20 Pro's multi-core performance. This also explains a lot of the stutters, delayed app launches and poor multitasking I've experienced on the Fold 8. For a foldable built around multitasking, this level of sustained performance is a serious problem. A phone this expensive shouldn't lose over a third of its multi-core performance after just five minutes of ordinary use.

What more could you want? Of course, a badass out-of-order core is coming later. It's still in the design phase, though.
