Unable to flee Tumakuru district, the accused took refuge in the Huilu Dore forest area. Based on information, police conducted a combing operation in the forest overnight. First, an individual named Dungar Singh fell into the police net. Later, around midnight, Mahendra Singh and Madhu Singh were arrested. In the early morning, Arvind was also found in the same forest. It was discovered that the jewelry had been hidden under a large, fallen tree in the forest. Police have seized the stolen gold ornaments and arrested the four accused. A case has been registered at Kalamabella Police Station in this connection, and investigations are ongoing.
