I like the way that they conveniently cut the video any time they need to add a cut down end piece. I'm a fan of robotics but "look at this robot place flat objects on the flat ground" is not a good advertisement. A Roomba is more impressive.

Check out this drone: Joshua Bird built this drone ($20) in his dorm! [open-source motion capture system⬇️] Built at low cost, a motion capture system for tracking & and flying drones autonomously, with millimeter-level precision at room-scale. The student used $1 PS3 Eye cameras with 150fps capability. The challenge? PID tuning! It took him 4 days of crashes to get the drone to hover, but it's still wobbly. Used a 3x nested PID loop for precise control. This project led to his dissertation on visual SLAM! Packing chocolate pralines into a box with the delta robot. Unlike most robots, this one has a fixed TCP, and the base moves in response to vision data. To adjust the base, the vision system determines exactly where the praline is located on the conveyor belt. 🍫 Using this application, the system knows where each praline should be placed based on its orientation. Instead of showcasing their highlight reel, our team at Lightwheel created a full environment from a 360 pano using Marble and showed you can train directly in sim. The only non-generated assets are the robot arms, coffee, and bowl. Everything else was generated with Marble. Not sure how to do this yourself? NVIDIA wrote a technical blog with full instructions.
