There was a shooting today at Walmart on 95th and Western. Two gunmen opened fire outside, then ran into Walmart and kept shooting inside. This is my Walmart , I go there all the time. And this is what we live with. Governor JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson wants us to believe crime is down, but it’s not. We can’t even shop in peace or walk in our neighborhoods without fear of being shot. This is what I’m fighting for ,safety, peace, and protection for our communities. We need help. THE DEMOCRATIC MACHINE NEVER SAW CHICAGO FLIPS RED COMING Back in November 11, 2024 Zoe Leigh played back what Mayor Brandon Johnson said following the 2024 presidential election. What happened next was bigger than one election. The Democratic political establishment in Chicago had never been challenged in quite the way Danielle Carter-Walters, Jessica Jackson, and Zoe Leigh challenged it. We started asking questions. TIF money. Tax Increment Financing redirects increases in property-tax revenue within designated districts toward development and other eligible public purposes. The question we kept asking was: Who benefits, how is the money being spent, and who is accountable for it? We questioned potential conflicts of interest involving elected officials who also hold professional real-estate licenses or have interests connected to real estate. A license alone doesn’t establish a conflict—but when public office and private interests intersect, transparency matters. OFFICIAL STATEMENT – CHICAGO FLIPS RED December 30,2025 Yesterday, December 29, 2025, two public meetings were scheduled at City Hall: the Budget Committee meeting and the full Chicago City Council meeting. During these meetings, the Democratic-controlled City Council, acting under the direction of Budget Committee Chairman Jason Ervin (28th Ward), violated the First Amendment rights of Chicago Flips Red members Danielle Carter, Lanetta Thomas, and Jessica Jackson, while also violating the Illinois Open Meetings Act. This conduct is not isolated. For three consecutive years, beginning with Chicago Flips Red Founder Zoe Leigh, the City of Chicago has engaged in a pattern and practice of suppressing protected political speech—specifically when residents speak out against corruption, misuse, and alleged laundering of taxpayer dollars. Rather than address the substance of our concerns, the Johnson administration and City Council have increasingly relied on intimidation tactics, including the use of Chicago Police Department officers and the Sergeant-at-Arms to silence speakers. At recent meetings, 20–30 officers were deployed to remove individuals after they attempted to lawfully exercise their right to speak, often after being improperly denied access to the microphone. This is not public safety. This is government overreach. It resembles the very authoritarianism, discrimination, and racialized suppression that City leadership publicly claims to oppose.
