Chris Williamson said something that really landed. Most people can lose 5 pounds or switch jobs, but very few ever lose 50 or 100 pounds, completely change careers, or move countries. Real, deep change usually only happens when someone hits rock bottom. He quoted J.K. Rowling: “Rock bottom is... a very firm foundation to build from.” The part that hit hardest was when he talked about the second half of success — the part nobody warns you about. You can achieve a lot objectively (work harder, achieve more than most), yet still feel existentially empty inside. Like going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and never feeling full. He admitted he spent years sacrificing how he felt for what he wanted to achieve. Now he’s shifting: he’s more willing to sacrifice achievements for the way he feels. There's this part in the interview where the host asked what they worry about most when it comes to each other, and Gawin's answer was that he doesn't really worry about Joss. His reason was that Joss is the kind of person who, when he says he's going to do something, he always follows through. Not only that, he does it well. He puts everything he has into it until it's done right. And honestly, the more I think about that answer, the sweeter it feels. Because I think it says a lot about how Gawin sees Joss as a person, someone stable, someone dependable, someone who takes care of the people around him. Someone Gawin knows he can lean on when things get difficult, the kind of person whose presence alone makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. Sometimes “I don't worry about him” doesn't mean you care less. Sometimes it means you trust someone so completely that worrying never even crosses your mind. And I don't know... I just find that incredibly endearing.

Whenever I’m down to 10%, I watch this video and somehow it takes me straight to 200% There is no one on Earth who can make humanity feel more excited about the future than Elon Musk Elon started SpaceX with one of the deepest missions anyone could dedicate their life to: Humanity cannot remain confined to one planet forever We need to become a multiplanetary civilization We need to carry life beyond Earth And we need to build a future so ambitious that people can wake up genuinely excited about what comes next That was the heart of why Elon started SpaceX Not because rockets were an easy business or success was guaranteed or the safest way to protect his wealth It was the exact opposite He knew the odds were overwhelmingly against him. Space is brutally hard. He knew he could lose every dollar he had made and walk away with nothing But he also knew the mission was bigger than anything he could personally lose That is the part that hits me deeply Most people spend their lives protecting what they already have Elon was willing to risk everything he had for something humanity did not yet have A future among the stars. A backup for entire human civilization A reason for billions of people to look upward and believe that the future can be greater than the past He was risking everything he had to change the direction of humanity. That is 100% a smile at the end here from Shaq 🧠 Not all dogs remember or are smart enough to know you are helping them. But some of them absolutely understand what is happening. Shaq knew and he still knows today a couple of months later 🏡 Although he’s very happy where he lives now I have to say he’s the one dog I miss and think about the most. I think when you go through something that traumatic for the dog and it’s so touch and go if they’ll live you form a real bond. Love you big Shaq
