Christopher Nolan admitted recently that he was initially hired to direct Troy over 20 years ago before Warner Bros. backed out & went with Wolfgang Petersen. This was for the best. Nolan got Batman Begins & we got an excellent version of Troy, which people need to acknowledge.

I thought Cillian Murphy played a great Scarecrow & was one of Christopher Nolan’s best casting decisions in the Batman trilogy. Nolan & Murphy have now collaborated for six films & Batman Begins was their first. I can say with 100% certainty I love all of their films together.
