Michael Caine didn’t make my list of the 10 Best Performances in a Christopher Nolan Film and I’ve been kicking myself the last few days for not finding room for Caine. Whether it be The Prestige, Inception, a voiceover in Dunkirk, or even Tenet, Caine makes every Nolan film better. I think Caine’s best Nolan performance is as Alfred in any of the three Batman films. Caine is the heart & soul of these stories. I really, really wish he was in The Odyssey.
