I have one question for the Christopher Nolan haters/for all the folks on this here app who questioned Nolan: what’s it like being on the wrong side of history? I’m truly, genuinely asking. What’s it like having to go to sleep at night knowing you were so fucking wrong? Face the music. Look in the mirror. Christopher Nolan just brushed you off his shoulder.

I’ll be posting my Nolan rankings in the next few days, but for now, I’d love to hear where you guys rank Oppenheimer all-time for Nolan. I think it’s Top 4.

Christopher Nolan: "Going to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago when I was 16 years old, seeing a documentary about volcanoes in the OmniMax format, and thinking... why on earth isn't Hollywood using this format? I always wanted to be a director. If I ever got the chance, could I shoot a film in this way?" I mean this! 🥹 They were talking about who Ilhan is behind the cameras because he doesn’t share his private life, where he goes on vacation, or what he does, and he was like, let’s say there is a place that is special to me… “When I share something, I think about those who will see it, whether they are at the same level as me, in the same environment, or the same financial strength — and I don’t just mean people who have less, but also those who have more.
