The Amiga port of Pang (aka Buster Bros.), published by Ocean Software in 1990, is considered a spot-on arcade conversion and one of the finest arcade ports on the platform, receiving critical scores of 90% and higher. With its simple mechanics and relatively reduced scope, it was possible to adequately fit in the extremely tight deadlines of the computer niche, and coupled with the technical skill of the Ocean France development team, delivering a compelling result. Not only on the Amiga, but also on other classic computers of the era.

Did you play "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" on your Commodore 64? Zzap!64 magazine rated it 72% "On the C64, at least, Indy gets a really quite good game. The main sprite is well drawn and animated, complete with stubble on his chin. Background graphics are generally good, with the Zeppelin stage nicely replicating the air sickness-inducing swaying of the Amiga version. Sound is a disappointment - spot FX only - but there's a good title tune. Actual playability is improved by being that vital bit faster, and with five loads this is a good value for money package."

The new avatars on Apple #VisionPro are undoubtedly the biggest addition. Here is why 👇 The leap in quality when compared to the original persona 1.0 and 1.1 (shown in the video capture around 1 year ago) is just massive and reaches a level of fidelity that can compete with the Codec avatars showcased by Meta. The difference here is that it all happens on a standalone device, with no complicated setup (also shown in the video) and capitalises on a unique feature of the headset, with NO OTHER device coming even close. Co-presence is one of the aspects no one has nailed yet, and this is the biggest leap in that direction.

5 Facts you didn't want to know about Alien Breed for the Commodore Amiga Alien Breed (1991) is a landmark Amiga title that defined Team17’s early style: tense, atmospheric, and brutally addictive. It was perfect for co-op gaming with mates. Programmed by Andreas Tadic and Peter Tuleby, with graphics by Rico Holmes and iconic music by Allister Brimble. 1. Top-down run-and-gun sci-fi shooter heavily inspired by Aliens: You (and a friend in co-op) explore an infested space station, blasting xenomorph-like aliens (I originally thought they were aliens) while managing limited ammo and health. It mixes fast arcade action with tense resource management. 2. Team17’s breakthrough hit: This was only their second game, after Full Contact, and their first full-price release. It put the UK developer and publisher on the map, before they became famous for the Worms series. 3. Extremely well-received on Amiga: Launched to critical acclaim, with many magazines scoring it 85–91% (CVG 91%, Zero 91%, CU Amiga 90%, Amiga Action 87%). It was usually praised for its smooth multi-directional scrolling, atmosphere, co-op play, and technical excellence on the Amiga. 4.
