The Amiga port of Pang (aka Buster Bros.), published by Ocean Software in 1990, is considered a spot-on arcade conversion and one of the finest arcade ports on the platform, receiving critical scores of 90% and higher. With its simple mechanics and relatively reduced scope, it was possible to adequately fit in the extremely tight deadlines of the computer niche, and coupled with the technical skill of the Ocean France development team, delivering a compelling result. Not only on the Amiga, but also on other classic computers of the era.

Did you play "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" on your Commodore 64? Zzap!64 magazine rated it 72% "On the C64, at least, Indy gets a really quite good game. The main sprite is well drawn and animated, complete with stubble on his chin. Background graphics are generally good, with the Zeppelin stage nicely replicating the air sickness-inducing swaying of the Amiga version. Sound is a disappointment - spot FX only - but there's a good title tune. Actual playability is improved by being that vital bit faster, and with five loads this is a good value for money package."

Amiga has an enhanced version of Final Fight where Maki is playable. This is great as the original Final Fight that came out for the Amiga makes whoever played it cry and question their life 😂, it's that bad.

Blackthorne (1994) for the SNES is a "cinematic platformer". Developed by Blizzard (then known as Silicon & Synapse), and published by Interplay, it's a "Prince of Persia with guns". The SNES version had some of its gore effects censored in comparison to the PC/DOS release. Re-released for the Switch, PS4, Windows, and Xbox One as part of the Blizzard Arcade Collection (2021).

This recording was done in third-person mode. The first minute of the video shows the boss’s skills and battle scenes with all Healer skills unlocked. After the first minute, it shows the #ASFR part. PS. The current version is the NSFW version, which is a private world. The presentation style of the SFW version will differ from what is shown in the video. The footage shown in the video is still under development and may differ from the final product. #CE176Project #状態変化

An interesting short film from #MichaelJackson, one of the few that have 2 versions, the video for "Who Is It." This version did not initially air in the USA but was included on the video albums: Dangerous: The Short Films and Michael Jackson's Vision. Another version of the video features footage from past music videos and live performances. This is the version that first aired in the USA

I love fusing retro with modern sounds, and my latest track is no exception. Certain parts of this song were crafted using the #Amiga. Check out the 4-channel version here. If you enjoy it, please support me by adding it on your favorite music service👾 👉

WRONG WAY DRIVER for the Commodore Amiga was coded in C++20 as a test project (by Pink^Abyss) to see if it would work on the Amiga 500 (it did). Looks and feels like a modern indie mini-game and is quite polished, featuring neat music and stylish art. #AmigaReposts #gamedev

5 Facts you didn't want to know about Alien Breed for the Commodore Amiga Alien Breed (1991) is a landmark Amiga title that defined Team17’s early style: tense, atmospheric, and brutally addictive. It was perfect for co-op gaming with mates. Programmed by Andreas Tadic and Peter Tuleby, with graphics by Rico Holmes and iconic music by Allister Brimble. 1. Top-down run-and-gun sci-fi shooter heavily inspired by Aliens: You (and a friend in co-op) explore an infested space station, blasting xenomorph-like aliens (I originally thought they were aliens) while managing limited ammo and health. It mixes fast arcade action with tense resource management. 2. Team17’s breakthrough hit: This was only their second game, after Full Contact, and their first full-price release. It put the UK developer and publisher on the map, before they became famous for the Worms series. 3. Extremely well-received on Amiga: Launched to critical acclaim, with many magazines scoring it 85–91% (CVG 91%, Zero 91%, CU Amiga 90%, Amiga Action 87%). It was usually praised for its smooth multi-directional scrolling, atmosphere, co-op play, and technical excellence on the Amiga. 4. Infamously difficult: The original game was notoriously tough and short, with only six levels. Because of this, Team17 later released Alien Breed Special Edition 92, with rebalanced difficulty, extra levels, and various fixes. In my opinion, it’s a much more enjoyable game. 5. No official Commodore 64 version: it was developed primarily for the Amiga, and the Commodore 64 never got a conversion :( Would you have played it? I would have big time! Still one of the best top-down shooters ever made on the Amiga. Who else remembers the panic when the ammo ran low and the aliens kept coming?

How to make electronic dance music in 1990 with your Commodore Amiga 500. Interesting video. Using an Amiga 500, Stereo Master and handful of $1 records from a 1990 Sunday market you could make studio quality dance-floor banger. cTrix is a musician, developer and promoter of music created with the home computers of the 80’s and 90’s. He is best known for his live energetic performances at chip shows and indie festivals world-wide.
