Full ep on @startupideaspod

Been running this combo for months. The killer feature: daily notes become project context. Claude sees what you worked on yesterday, picks up where you left off. Vault structure + AGENTS.md = instant memory across sessions.

👀👀

how about claude code + GSD + obsidian?

Claude + Obsidian = your ultimate thinking partner. Connect Obsidian notes (.md files) to Claude Code via CLI. Claude builds a personal thought web and creates custom commands for daily tasks & surfacing ideas. Transform your note-taking experience. Summaries and images generated by @RetellVideo

This is the setup. Markdown brain + AI agent = you never lose a thought again. Running something similar and it's a game changer.

been running obsidian + claude cowork for my whole content + client workflow the things you can automate with this combo are WILD

Great video, how did you create it?

I'm running @openclaw right now and the Discord integration is what keeps me there - my AI agents manages drafts, scan tweets, send reports all through Discord channels. but this Claude Code + Obsidian combo got my full attention. having the vault as the UI layer on top of Claude Code would be a huge upgrade for the knowledge side. definitely trying this tonight. hope they consider adding communication channel options like Discord too 🫡 React: ❌ ✅ ➡️

FREE 1-minute Guide to Claude Code and Obsidian @gregisenberg

Hot take: 95% of people watching this will spend more time building their "second brain" than actually using their first one. The best productivity system is the one you actually open every day — not the prettiest vault you forget about by next week.

minute is the new benchmark for integration demos.

We do this but took it further — the markdown files aren't just notes, they're the agent's actual memory system. SOUL.md = personality/rules MEMORY.md = curated long-term memory Daily logs = raw session notes Session checkpoints = hot state for crash recovery Our AI ops agent reads these every startup and genuinely "remembers" yesterday without being told. Claude Code + markdown as persistent memory > any database for agent continuity.

@gregisenberg @internetvin We watched this and built an entire AI executive council that reads our Obsidian vault before every session. Custom slash commands, pipeline tracking, session handoffs between Claude instances. The vault is the brain. Thank you both for the push.

My notes are MY NOTES and not for a LLM to train their system on.

Do this with Codex instead because Claude is stingy with usage quotas. (Recent 2x usage bump is not a solution)

Was the video creation fully automated?

Greg, i thought this was a 'how I made this video' kinda post 😅

banger video bro

We are setting this up for business it's secured internally and can work with multiple head in the company

Here's my version of this

what'd you use to produce this?

How to create video like this? Any tutorial

Obsidian was already a superpower. Claude Code made it a cheat code.

This is the right direction but most people will set this up, use it twice, and forget about it. The missing piece is always the same: a system that tells you WHEN and WHY to use which tool. Obsidian is great for capturing and connecting ideas. Claude Code is great for acting on them. But without a clear process that moves information from capture to action, you just have two powerful tools sitting idle. Build the workflow first, then the tools actually stick.

Obsidian as the shared context layer is smart. Your notes become the agent’s memory without a new tool. The next step is when multiple agents share the same vault — one researches, one writes, one reviews — coordinating through files instead of APIs.

This looks interesting! I love seeing how tools like Claude and Obsidian can enhance productivity.

Is it really as good as everyone says it is?

Unexpected side effect of this combo: your notes get better over time because you know the agent will read them. AI stays the same. Your clarity improves. The Obsidian vault becomes less journal, more working memory.

this is the move. the obsidian vault as your system prompt cache is criminally underrated. having the entire context live in one place that both you and claude can reference means no more "did i tell you this already?" pain. proper memory > better prompting

daily feeling

greg. i love you. this is dope!!!

Hired a new editor for this ?

Been running this exact setup for months — Obsidian vault as the workspace, Claude reads it as context before doing anything. What made you go full markdown-only vs keeping some stuff outside the vault?

obsidian as the brain, claude code as the hands. best personal os for anyone who thinks in markdown and ships in terminal
