So accurate

Server previews: Claude can now start dev servers and preview your running app right in the desktop interface. It reads console logs, catches errors, and keeps iterating.

Local code review: When you're ready to push, hit "Review code" and Claude leaves inline comments on bugs and issues before it goes to a full code review.

PR monitoring: Open a PR and Claude tracks CI in the background. With auto-fix, it attempts to resolve failures automatically. With auto-merge, PRs land as soon as checks pass. Work on your next task while Claude monitors the previous one.

Session mobility: Sessions move with you now. Run /desktop to bring a CLI session into the desktop app, or push it to the cloud and pick it up from the web or your phone. Update or download Claude Code on desktop to get started:

Software Engineers in 2026 be like …

Is Claude just self improving at this point, coding its own code, adding new features 24/7 until it takes over the world!?

Ai taking your job after getting you through uni

So, as an engineer now my only job is to make sure my computer is running? or you have a feature in pipeline that will automatically turn on the laptop, charge the laptop when battery is low? Please dm me so that I can plan my rest pf the career.

perfect, now just add native support for Agentation

Anthropic is on a generational run. Solely focused on AI for enterprise.

POV: you're on linux

Looks like my Claude Code Engineers deserve a promotion now 👀

Codex team now.

We are reaching a point where the AI will be opening PRs and arguing with itself in the comments while I spend the entire afternoon looking for the perfect mechanical keyboard.

Mom, mom ... Anthropic again shipped a feature killing a few more jobs!

yeah but the terminal makes you feel like

my legacy codebase last touched 2019:

At what point does the developer become the supervisor not the operator

@AnthropicAI you stole my animations! 😬

Preview apps. Review code. Handle CI. Fix PRs. Your IDE is now just a very expensive notepad. 😂

Time to sell SaaS again😂

Just shipped my first iOS app built entirely with Claude. From zero coding experience to App Store submission in about 6 weeks. Now it can preview running apps too? This would've saved me hours of "does this actually look right on device" anxiety. The gap between idea and shipped product is shrinking every month.

Supremacy of Claude code 🔥

Agents reviewing code and handling CI is impressive. But once actions move from suggestion → execution, authority mapping matters. Who approves? Who audits? Who owns rollback? Autonomy without governance gets expensive fast.

All that remains for vibe-coders to do after such updates is to simply check whether the PC is turned on and look at the monitor.

Great! Now my tokens are gonna burn even faster than ever before! 🔥

impossible to keep up with the amount of features you guys ship each day lol

Preview apps, review code, auto-fix CI failures, manage PRs, and follow you across every device — Claude Code is doing the job of four junior devs simultaneously. Don't worry though. They said AI would create more jobs.

You mfs cooking a lot

Server previews finally close the visual feedback loop in CLI. I build Next.js apps with Claude Code and the constant alt-tab to check renders has been the one friction point. Now Claude can see its own output and self-correct. That's a real dev environment.

Handling CI Fails, PRs and code review !! We got agentic automation in version control before GTA 6

can you use cloud code on desktop with OpenRouter like we do with the terminal?

goddam the music in this is good

The shift nobody is framing correctly: the IDE is no longer where you write code. It is where you supervise code being written. Background CI handling is the real inflection point — the development loop is starting to close itself. Within 12 months, "developer" will mean the person who defines what should exist, not the person who types it into existence. Taste and judgment become the actual skill. Typing speed becomes irrelevant.
