Xgame is now available to download for free on Mac, Windows, and Linux. 🌌 This started a week ago, when Unity launched the Unity CLI. I plugged in Grok Build and Grok 4.5 and asked for a 3D world. Then I thought, can it make a beautiful ocean and sky? Then it evolved further into a simple island game, just to see what was possible. No design doc. No pipeline plan. Every answer came back better than the last one, and somewhere in that loop the experiment stopped feeling like a demo and started feeling like a game. So I changed the question. Instead of an island, I asked for space. Dogfights. Capital ships. Missions with weight. The pipeline that formed around it wasn’t something I designed on a whiteboard. First it grew out of what I needed next. Combat that punched. Enemies that pushed back. Ships that existed as code, not downloads. Tools to manage the clips and the assets because the game was growing faster than any manual process could keep up. That’s the discovery that stuck with me. I wasn’t “using AI to help me code a game.” I was building the game by talking to the system that was writing it, running it, and shipping builds for it over and over, until it felt right. Then something I didn’t plan for happened. People saw it. A lot of people.The early footage traveled farther than expected. Elon Musk shared it. And then a few days later Unity’s CEO reached out. Not a cold form letter, a real “we’ll have people contact you.” A week earlier I was poking the new Unity CLI with Grok. Suddenly the company behind the engine was looking at what came out of that experiment. I didn’t set out to prove a thesis. I set out to see if one person, with the right harness, could go from a blank project to something you’d actually want to play. The answer turned out to be YES and the shocking part isn’t any single feature. It’s that the whole thing was vibe-coded end to end. The game, the polish passes, even the little systems that made the next pass possible. Xgame is free because that was always the point. No launcher. No account. No store page. Siphesihle Ndlovu and the Double Pivot: Tactical Analysis📝 Out of Possession Siphesihle Ndlovu is a box-to-box midfielder in its purest form. Defensively, he was excellent at recoveries, closing gaps, cutting off passing lanes, and making well-timed interceptions. His anticipation and positional awareness allowed him to support the defense effectively. He maintained a high work rate, consistently tracking back and covering spaces behind the press, which was crucial for stabilizing the fullbacks, especially with Monyane looking flat. Even during periods when his influence in possession dipped, Ndlovu continued to deliver a solid shift out of possession, working alongside Maboe to break up play, win tackles, and apply pressure on the ball. In Possession Ndlovu embraced his box-to-box role, always looking to support the player on the ball, always trying to move the ball forward with line-breaking passes. He carried the ball whenever space allowed and maintained a vertical mindset, favoring forward passes over sideways or backward options. This approach helped the team establish attacking momentum early on. However, in the final 3rd, Ndlovu’s actions leaned too heavily towards shooting. Maboe created more chances[3] than Ndlovu[1], though Ndlovu was the more adventurous between the 2. He limited his actions far from the box. While Maboe prioritized creating opportunities in the final 3rd, Ndlovu often opted to shoot even when he had a teammate in a better position. His pass timing and selection was a concern too. This was especially problematic since Silva was often isolated, with no supply, and so the team needed more support in the final 3rd. With improved judgment in these moments, our quality in the final 3rd would have also received a boost from the midfield and, overall, avoid wasted opportunities. Ndlovu🤝🏾Maboe The double pivot provided balance and control, especially in the first 30 minutes. They kept excellent distances between, denying Arrows the chance to settle & play through midfield. This dominance was most evident early on, with the team controlling the game physically and tactically. Their chemistry was exciting. Whenever they combined, the entire attacking flow looked clean and well-balanced. They were very direct, which demanded high physical output due to the constant need to support forward passes and track back. This lack of patience in possession may have been influenced by Arrows’ aggressive pressing, forcing quicker decisions and increasing physical demands. Or it's part of our high intensity attacking football the coaches favor. After 30min, the team’s attacking intensity dropped, and the combinations between Ndlovu and Maboe became less frequent. This loss of rhythm allowed Arrows more time on the ball, suggesting fatigue in midfield, a trend that continued into the 2nd half. Tactical Considerations and Impact on the Partnership We didn't show much improvement coming from half time. Maboe was becoming less and less influential. The turning point came with the substitution of Maboe for Mabaso. Although this change was relatively late, considering how less influential the midfield remained after the break, Mabaso had an immediate impact. His energy revived the midfield and brought Ndlovu back into the game, demonstrating that Ndlovu still had the legs and capacity to influence the match, what he needed was renewed support and intensity around him, especially with Shabalala offering limited influence as a 10. In the final 15 minutes, the team regained control, pressed higher up the pitch, and created better attacking moments. We looked like we could score a 2nd goal. The combinations returned, the forward passing improved, and Ndlovu once again became influential in driving the team’s play. This guy built a $5,000 passive income stream off one Claude Code SEO workflow. The whole thing runs on skill files that turn YouTube videos into ranking blog posts, fully hands off. One prompt, and Claude writes the post, pulls screenshots from the video, sets the meta data, and publishes the draft to WordPress. He's also vibe coding entire local business websites that hit page one of Google in 2 weeks. Ryan Doser came on the pod to walk us through it. Here's what I learned: 1. He repurposes every YouTube video into an SEO blog post with one prompt. Claude Code grabs the transcript, writes the article, takes screenshots from the video, compresses them, uploads to WordPress, sets the title, slug, meta description, and category. Zero manual work. 2. The secret is skill markdown files. Think of them as SOPs for AI. His SEO writer skill encodes every best practice, past example, and formatting rule. The prompt is 5 lines because the skill does 99% of the work. 3. "Triple check this" is a cheat code. Tell Claude Code to triple check anything and it spins up parallel agents to verify the work. Better output, one extra sentence. 4. The money math: $5,000+ in passive sales from a $99 digital product. 80% attributed to blog traffic from this workflow. Site started at zero authority in February. Took off by mid April. 5. He runs the same workflow for a real client at several thousand a month. A national dental IT provider. The client's inbound leads are up and the retainer keeps renewing. 6. AI search impressions are the new currency. His client shows up #1 in Google's AI Overview for their money keyword. That's AI literally telling the searcher "this company is the best." Worth more than a blue link. 7. He vibe coded a fake septic tank website in 3-4 hours. Astro framework, GitHub, Cloudflare. Two weeks later it's on page one for "septic tank pumping near me," beating Better Business Bureau and HomeAdvisor. 8. The stack is basically free. GitHub: free. Cloudflare: free. Astro: free. The only cost is a Claude subscription. $100/month can realistically support 2-3 clients paying $2,000-4,000 each. 9. Target boring local businesses PE hasn't touched. Skip HVAC, plumbing, and roofing. Go after septic, junk removal, dumpster rental, funeral homes. Million-dollar businesses with websites from 2002. 10. Walk in the front door. Cold email and cold calls are drowning in AI spam. Go talk to 10 owners in person. You could be the worst salesperson alive and still close one. His 2 key takeaways: 1. Be your own case study. Spin up a demo site in a weekend, show it ranking in 2 weeks, then pitch: "imagine this on your established domain." 2. SEO is an evergreen asset. A tweet dies in 48 hours. A ranking blog post pays the client back for years, even after you stop working together. That's the pitch that justifies the retainer. Dr. Karp has repeatedly explained this as Palantir’s core philosophy and competitive edge. Realistically speaking, the Software is FREE. Multi-billion annual ecosystem value vs. ~$100M annualized from the recent deal. Palantir's involvement started with targeted production fixes and scaled into an industry platform. 2. SOMPO $60M profit improvement over 3 years previously, with another $100M expected; newer AI agents targeting $10M annual improvement in financial results via better risk evaluation and decision support. Multi-year expansions, including a $50M add-on in 2023 and further extensions (ongoing platform use across subsidiaries with thousands of daily users). =>Cumulative $160M+ projected gains vs. known expansions in the tens of millions. 3. bp (Energy) Triple-figure returns (hundreds of percent ROI) year-over-year on Palantir investments; broader operational efficiencies cited in the hundreds of millions to $1B range in some energy contexts. bp signed a new 5-year enterprise agreement that explicitly includes Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) capabilities on top of the existing Foundry foundation. This built on prior work and expanded AI-driven decision support for engineers. Older reference from priot renewal cited $100m+ in multi-years, so this 5 years extension will probably be north to $150-$200m This model is why Dr. Karp argues Palantir wins in large enterprises and governments that are tired of “science projects” or expensive software that never pays for itself. It de-risks adoption for the customer while forcing Palantir to stay laser-focused on real, quantifiable value creation rather than just selling seats or licenses. As Dr. Karp puts it, everyone in tech will eventually be paid this way on the actual value delivered, not promises. I've spent hours and hours thinking about how AI is going to change writing. This is a 90-minute distillation of everything I've learned. Some things I believe: 1. The combination of LLM-driven humor and image generation means that we're about to enter the golden age of memes. 2. The best writers will be fine. Robert Caro and Dostoevsky aren’t about to be disrupted by ChatGPT. 3. What are the different models like? ChatGPT is your friend who makes a lot of good points, but it’s kinda boring, Claude is your hippie friend who loves to get vulnerable but takes the whole “express yourself” thing a little too far, and Grok is your unhinged friend who leans a little too hard into tinfoil hat theories, but is always a trip to jam on ideas with. 4. People who say that AI writing is low-quality aren’t realizing that quality exists along two dimensions: (1) the absolute quality of the writing and (2) how tailored the writing is to your interests at the time. 5. I’ll tell you this: What writers are doing with AI behind closed doors is a long way ahead of what's publicly understood. I don't expect this to change anytime soon because of the social stigma associated with AI-enhanced writing. Because of that, if you want to see the cutting edge, you're gonna have to piece things together through private conversations and group chats. 6. If you want to follow what's happening in AI, remember this quote from William Gibson: “The future is here, it’s just not evenly distributed yet.” You can get a glimpse of the future by looking at how a small percentage of writers are already using AI. 7. I’m bearish on writers who are currently using AI to write for them, and bullish on writers who are currently using AI to write with them. 8. What kinds of writing will continue to be written by humans? Ones that speak to our humanity. People are interested in people. Their stories, their struggles, their emotions, their drama. 9. Almost all utilitarian writing, where the goal is to convey information, not do it beautifully, will be written by AI. 10. In some ways, AI is the end of slop. So many Google search results are slop. LinkedIn posts are slop. The way Twitter got taken over by Threadbois in 2021 was also slop. AI-generated writing is already better than all of those things, so why would you read them now? 11. AI will be tougher on writers than readers. Readers will be exposed to some slop, but the Internet will be good about filtering it out. Writers, though, are now competing against ever-improving LLMs, which are getting better and better by the month. 12. Humans will contribute with unique data or perspectives. The famous Peter Thiel interview question doubles as a good writing prompt: “What very important truth do few people agree with you on?” 13. New technologies breed new kinds of art. Ever notice how flat 13th or 14th century Medieval art looks? And how different that art looks from the Renaissance art created in the 15th and 16th centuries? Technical innovations like the camera obscura and perspective grids are behind this. Similarly profound changes will come to the writing world because of AI (credit to Justin Murphy for the idea here). 14. Satya Nadella says: “The new workflow for me is I think with AI and work with my colleagues.” When it comes to discovering ideas, I've also found that jamming with an LLM is more productive than doing it with most people I know (save for a few giga-brain conversationalists). 15. Thought experiment: Will AI-writing be more like music or chess? With music, we don't care how a song is made. We just want it to be good. With chess, there's a huge market for watching human beings play even though the computers are already better. I think non-fiction writing will go the way of music. People won’t care how it was made. They’ll just care that it’s good. 16. AI has flipped the rules of tech adoption. Seasoned managers usually drag their feet with adopting new technology, but the ones I know love AI, while frontline workers struggle to see the point. My theory is that AI matches how managers already operate. Management has always been a kind of prompt engineering: set a vision, delegate, give feedback, iterate. But LLMs remove the drama that used to come with having a team. No 1-on-1s. No emotional tangles. It's like management without the headache. For frontline employees, things are different. They aren't as accustomed to setting a vision and giving feedback, so LLM prompting is a daunting and unfamiliar kind of work for them. 17. AI editors are already quite good. Sure, they aren’t as good as the world’s best editors, but they’re a fraction of the cost, they’ll instantly give you 80th percentile feedback, and they work 24/7. As a novelist recently said to me: “Paying an editor to review my novel costs me $7,000 and a 4-6 week turnaround time, whereas Claude costs me $1.25 and gets me results a few minutes later.” The edits definitely aren’t as good, but there’s a virtue to speed (and this guy isn’t a chump writer). 18. The way AI-skeptics hate on LLMs while using old models is like driving a ‘92 Honda while hating on a self-driving Tesla. 19. AI-generated fiction makes people very upset. A friend insists it’s like having sex with a robot. Doesn’t matter how good it is. It ain’t human-generated, and there’s something uniquely repulsive about that. 12 hours ago I made the decision to fly out to El Salvador to be the first ever to make an AI generated short film for a country. I’m now 4 hours away from arriving there. (Talk about executing fast) I will take my time writing this message because the reason why has layers.
