We think the mystery of why Ling’s b+3 can’t be parried is solved. It’s not because it’s an ankle or heel attack, and it’s not directly because of a backturn animation. Some moves simply have a “can’t be parried” property. This property is not shown in practice mode; you have to use external tools that read the game’s code to see it. Below are some moves that can’t be parried and some that look similar but can be parried. Note that most running moves can’t be parried. Thanks to BanaNeko for this information.

This is where I have to share my raw feelings about Rivian software currently on R1. The software experience they have created is good. It’s their own, with their software stack that they control. With that said, we have to stop making excuses for longstanding bugs. Like Quinn Nelson had posted about long ago, having to do multiple Resets, logins and out to get core functionality to work is not the experience we should be having. I know Rivian and Wassym do not want this. I also know they are working on R2 stuff as well. As a person who has spent real money on 4 Rivian’s with 3 R2 reservation between me and hubby, we are huge fans. Have helped many become Rivian owners as well. But the long outstanding bugs are starting to boil over. It’s dragging the software reliability down. Apple Music has been in Rivian vehicles for just about 2 years now. We are past the stage of it being “new”. Spatial Audio is a key music feature, and for me, and plenty of others, you have to turn that off sometimes just to get music to play. I shouldn’t have to do that. Plus, you can’t change that feature while the vehicle is in drive. So then you have to pull over and fiddle with it just to get it work and sometimes it doesn’t. Rivian assistant can’t do it either. Among other issues, like HVAC preconditioning, unstable cabin temps, GPS locking issues, profile switching not getting right or switching profile after the driver has gotten in, mobile app live activities not functioning properly, and more. The live activities is important, because we don’t have a notification for charging start stop/complete except for charging complete on DCFC, so on a level 2 charger, I don’t know if there is an issue with charging if the live activities don’t appear. Same for HVAC if it’s not showing up I have to keep opening the app to check to see what the temperature is. If you aren’t going to push me a notification that the cabin is at the temp I selected in favor of the live activities, then the live activities has to work. I could go on, but I really love my Rivian. I love the brand, I love what they want to do. And I think R2 is going to change the market for most things, but I want their focus to be on software and stability. Focus on polish, focus on features that many people want, don’t over complicate those things. Example, valet mode should be here by now that locks down speed acceleration and access to certain parts of the vehicle. Basic Pin to drive, not the multi factors drive one that depends on your phone and vehicle having an internet connection. Speedy, clean, stable software is always a win. I know Wassym Bensaid and plenty of others at Rivian can do this. We have seen it before and seen what they can do. The YouTube app is by far the best app they have added. I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s responsive, and works. Everything needs to work like that across the board. Please guy let me help in anyway I can, I just want the best for you and the community and customers. Let’s focus on that. I know some will see this as a complete complaining post but it’s not. It’s a plead to make the experience better for everyone and making the Rivian software the best software it can be.

"Those first 5 years, I had great conversations with a lot of great players. Pete Rose, Willie Stargell, Henry Aaron, Mike Schmidt. I had a chance to sit down and talk to 'em - pick their brain, find out how they do what they do." The greats learn from the greats. They never stop learning. They never stop wanting to get better. "After about 4 years, I started to realize that this is more mental than physical. So what I need to do is get an approach that I think will work and then just trust the approach. Trust what you practice on. Trust it." That's the key. Create the plan then work the plan. And when it's not working, you still trust yourself. "During the winter, I can hit in a cage and be mechanically sound. But the first time I hit live in spring training, I'll be lucky if I get a ball out of the cage." "For younger guys, that's a sign of, 'Oh, I'm not getting out of the cage,' so they try to speed things up, do things quicker." Trust your approach and stay under control. Don't let frustration change who you are. The game is mental. The greats know that and they learn how to build a process that works for them. They adapt as needed, but they learn the art of focus. the future is not the app store a 6 minute rant vibe coding tools have one problem no one's talking about anyone can make an app but no one can release an app posting on tiktok is instant, posting on youtube is instant what if posting a video on tiktok took 2-7 days and a panel of individuals who have NEVER posted a tiktok on their own, determined if your video was "tiktok-like" welcome to the 2025 app store, where this is the case let me explain a long time ago, when the first few iphones were released, apple had a tough battle motorola and blackberry were great competitors with phones people loved apple decided to open up the app store, and invite devs to come create whatever they wanted the app store was created by people like me, iBeer, Paper toss, Bump. these are my founding fathers. people who treated engineering as art. they didn't care about being cool they cared about making their friends look cool and using iBeer made you look cool the catch was -> iBeer was only available on the iPhone as hundreds of these iPhone exclusive apps were released thousands, hundreds of thousands, and millions flocked to use an iPhone small, focused, creative apps made the iPhone what it was but as soon as the iPhone became incumbent, the doors shut. tight. new rules. new regulations. new taxes. i spent the last 6 days working on an app we release an app a week at Danger Testing, bringing back that old energy. making the internet fun again i didnt sleep much, and even with the trauma the app store has put me in before ~ i had faith. that they would do right by this work I put in I was wrong They haggled with me for a few days on the type of data I was storing, which was none ~ (they would know that if they were engineers) Then at the last minute mailed it in with a rejection, with the words "this app is not app like" a sentence that means nothing Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality this is a guideline they hide behind anytime they have decided internally they don't feel an app should be released, but don't want to tell you why you leave me stranded. no where to go, no improvements to make, just go away there's a huge opportunity waiting to happen in apps right now for the first time apps can be cultural commentary, apps can be viral and ephemeral APPS CAN BE EVERYTHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS CAN BE software is fast, software costs nothing everything is lined up except the app store as it stands isn't a platform, it's a government and your average vibe coder is not going to push through a rejection, let alone 20+ rejections -> which i received on my first app of the year millions of apps will be made the success of these apps should be dependent on distribution, not on if some dude thinks its legit This revolution will NOT happen if the doors we have to go through are owned by the app store We need something new, something true and beautiful and welcoming Danger Testing wants everyone to be an appstar This tweet is not on the heels of a single rejection It's on the heels of hundreds of app store rejections in a lifetime A battle to provide the world with what I know it will love But a battle filled with friction at every turn due to the suits I remember being at a hackathon and making this app with andrea The judges ranked us last place, said the app was too goofy Today the last iteration of that app got 25+ million views across the internet This is the new world A group of dudes sitting behind a table don't get to decide our reality, we get to create it Fight back Don't ever allow yourself to be subjected by non shipper losers with no courage The cavalry isn't coming We are the cavalry Let's fight

This is insane... No really.. I just randomly tried superapp to build an mvp - a Duolingo style app for AI upskilling and it was ready in 20 minutes Then I played with Seedance 2.0 inside arcads for a while and built an n8n agent that fetches all these ai ugc videos promoting the app and posts on IG and TikTok You know what's crazy? 800+ people signed up to get access. And the app DOESN'T even exist yet. It is just a static MVP, but still did a good enough job to attract real users (who may eventually become paying customers) This is the future Sell before you build. Move fast with AI, build a distribution engine, and scale to $1m ARR with a single-person team For now, my stack is simple > Claude + Arcads + Superapp I have tried a lot of AI tools... when I say a lot, it really is ridiculously lot of them. I almost have a new dm from a founder every other day. But I use the above stack because Claude → absolute beast with automations Superapp → outputs actual SwiftUI Arcads → most realistic AI ugc + API access And there are so many other tools you can plug into your ecosystem to literally automate and test 10 different app ideas with 50 TikTok accounts. Affiliate deals, AI powered slideshows, n8n automations, custom funnels for every app. It just continues to blow my mind what's possible today. I compiled everything I learned into a single comprehensive Notion guide that explains: → How to find viral-worthy app ideas → How to build production-ready iOS apps → How to distribute your app across channels → and a bunch of free resources Like + comment "AGENT" and I'll send it 📨
