Pete Hegseth has served this country honorably- a tour in Afghanistan, a tour in Iraq. I never put on the uniform, but I certainly have a lot of damn respect for the people who do. He led his troops for about a year as a leader, and many of the generals and individuals who gave him a Bronze Star wrote admirably about his leadership position. So I don't think that this is someone who doesn't recognize the importance of war, the toll it takes on families, and that you might indeed pay the ultimate price. And so I think we shouldn't forget that. We may dislike him. You may not like the comment that he made and we could critique maybe it wasn't the right way to word it, but but this is someone who knows war more than anybody at this table that I'm familiar with, and we should keep that in mind.

He’s incredibly talented. As a Republican, I certainly don’t agree with many of his positions. But there is something to be said about the arguments that he’s making to New Yorkers that is palatable. I am concerned about some of his presentations on economics. I’m concerned about the idea of the role of government as it pertains to sort of level setting for people who have economically struggled. This man’s dog passed away a few months ago. They used to tie him up to this tree out in the front yard as he loved being outside. They even buried his leash at the base of the tree. As he was walking by the tree they used to tie him up to, they noticed a formation at the bottom of the tree on the trunk and it looks so similar to a photo they have of him. He said he’s aware of pareidolia, where people see patterns or formations in certain things. But he doesn’t believe it is that. I see it. Think it is so cool and beautiful. ❤️ Do you see it? What do you think it is? Ever heard of pareidolia? Think he is seeing what he wants to see? Or, do you think it is definitely a sign of his beloved dog?

They could have simply said to MJ's point, to Chuck's point, the President isn't going to put his thumb on the scales of justice. He's going to wait. He hasn't made a decision yet. ‘It’s not clear Trump even READ the Memorandum of Understanding he signed with Iran.’ —Doug Bandow, former Special Assistant to President Reagan ‘The Iranians do have to be careful not to overreach. They hold the Strait. That gives them enormous leverage, but they need to be prepared to make a deal when they can. I think what they were worried about here was that it was pretty clear Trump was violating the MOU in terms of the Strait as well as the issue of Lebanon. Now, it's not clear that he actually read the MOU before he signed it. Did he actually know what was in it? It was somewhat ambiguous. You send over a couple of real estate developers, a childhood friend and your son-in-law and expect them to work out negotiations with Iran? What could possibly go wrong? The point is that I think he realised he was in trouble, he got a lot of flak for it and thought that he could force the Iranians to back down. They are holding firm. I think the danger here is they have to be prepared at some point, I think, to make a deal. This is a longer video than I normally post, but it was a special request. I’m not making a deep theological point or criticism, just found this to be funny. James White was interacting with some Roman Catholics, and they told him that Taco_Talks is the leader of the Protestant movement. Well, James melted down. He got so triggered by it. And you can tell that he doesn’t want to insult Taco, but he sort of does so anyway. It is EXTREMELY clear who James thinks is the leader of the Protestant movement. When I heard this, I instantly thought that the Catholics were trolling him. There is some debate about that, but I don’t care. I WANT to believe (Fox Mulder voice) that he was trolled here, purposely. You can’t convince me otherwise!

C-SPAN CALLER: “First of all, I want to appreciate the president and give him credit for being able to show up the second time after the first incident.” “I think a lot of people don’t give the president credit.” “He jokes a lot. Rory McIlroy has never minced his words when it comes to his views on LIV Golf. He was asked about it again yesterday, and in typical Rory fashion, after saying he was “too judgemental” with players that went, he then said “if you want to be the most competitive golfer you can be, this (PGA Tour) is the place to be. And if you don't want to play here, I think that says something about you.” Speaking after a 5 under par 67 to climb inside the top 10 of the Truist Championship, Rory spoke about his thoughts on the news that the Saudi Arabian PIF was pulling funding to the league: “Yeah, look, I think everyone sort of knows my views on LIV and where it stands in the game of golf. I don't think I need to rehash any of that. It's never been for me and, look, it doesn't mean that LIV is going to go away. They're going to go and try and find alternative investment, whatever that may look like. But when one of the wealthiest sovereign wealth funds in the world thinks that you're too expensive for them, that sort of says something (laughing).” He then was asked what a possible route back for players to the PGA Tour would look like: “It's a question if they do want to come back. Obviously we have seen the quotes over the last few days. And, you know, it seems like some of the guys, if -- again, it all depends on what happens to LIV. But if it is a scenario where they have the option to come back and play on the traditional tours, you know, I think Brian Rolapp has said anything that makes this Tour stronger, anything that makes the DP World Tour stronger, I think everyone should be open to that. That's just good business practice. “So, but again I think there's going to be a lot of sort of bridges to cross to get there, just because, you know, obviously the guys over there are under contract and if they are able to keep it going and get a schedule together next year, it seems like those guys are still going to play the majority of their golf on LIV, in whatever form it takes.” That was followed up with a question about whether he was surprised that LIV Golf players have been outspoken about not wanting to return to the PGA Tour: “Yeah, which is totally fine. He attacks other people based on what they look like or who they pray to or who they love.. He tries to divide Americans because he struggles with uplifting all Americans. I think it shows profound weakness.. Attacking the identity of the VP doesn’t at all reflect negatively on the VP but shows a real insecurity about Trump.
