CNN's Karen Finney was NOT having it with @MrShermichael Singleton questioning the Eric Adams case: "No, no, it ain't because he's black. It's because he's corrupt. He is. I mean, he's already got --" Singleton: "What -- what are you basing that off? Have you seen the evidence?" Finney: "Yes, I actually have." Singleton: "What evidence? Tell the American people." Finney: "There's a prosecute --" Singleton: "What evidence? There hasn't been a jury yet?" Finney: "Are you going to keep talking over me?" Singleton: "You interrupted me, but go ahead, Karen" Finney: "-- look, a couple of things." Singleton: "Sure." Finney: "A number of people within his administration have already been convicted. And let's just pull back and remember, that this is a man who is already on the ropes and -- a former Republican -- unpopular in the city for a number of things. So he's already facing -- was facing a tough reelection. And in the documentation, I believe in the letters it says he showed up and said, hey, you do this for me. I could do this for you. On top of the quid pro quo allegations around what -- the ways in which he was engaging with the Turkish government and the ways in which he actually made New Yorkers less safe, because over a building where the Turkish government wanted a relaxing of the rules and regulations with the fire department, and they asked the mayor to help them out and the mayor got lots of fancy trips and lots of upgrades that were very suspicious."Singleton: "So fancy trips and --" Finney: "No, no, no. There was a very long trail. So just politically, I think we should remember this is a mayor very entrenched in New York politics who is already in trouble. So it's not surprising that he would then show up and try to cut a deal."

Needless to say, things got even more intense with @MrShermichael Singleton battling Karen Finney and fill-in host Boris Sanchez over the DOJ seeking to drop Eric Adams's case, accusing him of living in a "fantasyland" Asked towards the end of the clip about whether Kathy Hochul should remove Adams from office, Singleton hit the nail on the head: "Allow the people of New York to decide if they want to reelect this man or choose someone else. Why should the governor get involved? And I'm actually a bit surprised that Democrats are saying anything about this when Joe Biden pardoned his son, a bunch of members of his family. Were calls about a constitutional crisis or this being appalling? Democrats had absolutely nothing. Secondarily, I'm also surprised again, Karen, I know you want to say this isn't about race, but how many other politicians who are not black and Eric Adams is more of my complexion than yours, do a lot of corrupt BS and no one ever lifts the rug to question what they're doing. But here's this black man, the most powerful mayor in this country, and all of a sudden we want to look at some trips? Give me a freaking break."

Senator Whitehouse asks Pam Bondi about the weaponization of the DOJ during her confirmation hearing. Whitehouse: "it would not be appropriate for a prosecutor to start with a name and look for a crime. It's a prosecutor's job to start with a crime and look for a name, correct?" Bondi: "Senator, I think that is the whole problem with the weaponization that we have seen the last four years and what's been happening to Donald Trump. They targeted Donald Trump. They went after him, actually starting back in 2016. They targeted his campaign. They have launched countless investigations against him. That will not be the case if I am Attorney General. I will not politicize that office. I will not target people simply because of their political affiliation. Justice will be administered even handedly throughout this country. Senator, we've got to bring this country back together. We've got to move forward or we're going to lose our country."

@MrShermichael They should make a deal with former Senator menendez. I'm telling you, he has dirt on very powerful people and is facing 11 years in prison. He will squeal.

@MrShermichael @MrShermichael we agree on almost everything but why are you playing The Card here? The defense of Adams is simple: he’s fed up with being a sanctuary city and once he declares he’s over it, they come at him. The machine comes at him. That’s the corruption. It’s not his skin.

@MrShermichael Adam’s is the mayor of NYC that’s it. Why is there the need to put a racial spin to it?

@MrShermichael I am all for going after politicians that abuse their power esp AGAINST THE PEOPLE but there needs to be more than what’s she’s saying & what I have been able to find , to go after Adams. It seems he was targeted for his immigration stance (maybe Israeli stance) in the 1st place

@MrShermichael This interview is funny. 😆 “Karen” was really testing your patience. 😂😂Ha!

@MrShermichael Funny that most of the people that get those deals are the underlings says that they’ll flip on the big dawg. Adams is the big dog. And those deals are also made for evidence to aid the prosecution not a quid pro quo aid for a Hitler wannabe and his policies by a corrupt DAG.

@MrShermichael Correct. So, this *Saint was never removed etc… He was able to continue his career as Mayor. The Complexion for the protection, allegedly. 😏#EricAdams #NewYorkCity #NewYorkers #KathyHochul #Trump #ICE Yet. His face is allegedly all over #CNN ! #ElonMusk #DOGE

His defense is that there are people who have done things worse than what Eric Adams did. Wow, that's the mindset of everyone sitting in prison today. ~I shot him five times, but he didn't die. ~I beat her but not as bad as I beat my last wife. Does that really work? A crime is a crime, the penalty should reflect the severity of the crime, not Donald Trump and not Shermichael Singleton.
