CODEX SKILL THAT STOPS WASTING YOUR CODEX USAGE! I made a Codex skill that gives every task a clear budget before it starts. Choose Saver, Balanced, Full Power, or define your own limits. It reduces: → unnecessary repository scans → repeated commands and huge logs → speculative refactors →...

CODEX SKILL THAT FINDS WASTED STORAGE ON YOUR MAC! I made a Codex skill that audits your Mac and reports where disk space can be cleaned up safely. Scan your Mac while Codex checks caches, logs, old installers, build artifacts, node_modules, Xcode data, Docker leftovers, and other files that may be wasting storage. -> macOS storage audit -> cache, logs, downloads, build artifact detection -> low/medium/protected risk levels -> exact paths + space estimates -> read-only report by default -> asks before deleting anything -> one-command install Install: npx --yes codex-mac-storage-cleanup 100% open source. Repo in Bio.

▣ Introducing Endless: infinite inference (kinda). An experimental harness to milk every ounce out of your Codex subscription. Since Codex can let an in-progress turn keep going even after your usage hits 100%, why not put that to the test? Endless starts one Codex turn and gives the agent a wait_for_user_input tool. Once it finishes a task, it calls that tool and waits. Your next message becomes the tool result, keeping the entire session inside the same turn. It runs through Codex’s own app server using your existing ChatGPT login. Native tools, automatic compaction, context tracking, and quota tracking still work as usual. ⚠️ NOTE: I CAN’T CONFIRM THAT YOU WON’T GET BANNED OR PUNISHED FOR USING THIS TOOL. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

if you use Codex and you're stuck on GPT models only, this fixes that. it's called codex-router, open source. drops other models straight into your normal Codex picker, right next to the GPT ones you already have. what it adds: - Grok, Kimi, Deepseek, Claude, all in the same picker - oauth login per provider, no api key needed - your GPT models and Chatgpt login stay untouched setup: point Codex at the repo, let it read the readme, it installs itself one snag: if you've got the Chatgpt app and a separate Codex on your path, you can end up running two different Codex versions, and the older one can choke on newer config it doesn't recognize. if the install looks off after, that's probably why, reinstall clean.

Grok 4.5 is now in Codex now too. No API key, no billing setup, no config file. If you have X Premium, you sign in with your X account and Grok 4.5 runs inside your Codex. OAuth handles it. Your subscription is your access. That's it. And Grok 4.5 just got a lot better, so if you already pay for X Premium, you can now run it in Codex for free.

Pro-tip: use a token budget when using /goal in the Codex CLI This is an experimental feature we're exploring, you might have to enable the flag. Ask Codex to do it for you.

You can now run Grok inside Claude Code and Codex, using your existing subscription. it's called grok-plugin. Grok’s genuinely good right now, but if your setup lives in Claude Code and Codex, switching to use it is a pain. this solves that exact issue: > Grok in Claude Code and Codex > directly auths through X Premium or Supergrok, no api key > your workflow and subagents stay untouched free and open source. the low-friction way to test Grok in the tools you already use.

ChatGPT Web is now inside Codex 😲 this open-source project has already crossed 2.7k stars instead of using a separate workflow, it lets you use ChatGPT Web models directly from Codex's model picker what you get: - GPT-5.6 Pro for eligible accounts - free Luna access - ChatGPT Web quota - Codex tools + context - images, streaming and reasoning - open-source + MIT licensed getting started: 1. go to 2. install the launcher 3. sign in with your ChatGPT account 4. run the browser checks 5. install the models 6. restart Codex and select ChatGPT Web the interesting part? you can keep using Codex normally while routing the selected model through ChatGPT Web no separate API key for the ChatGPT model 2.7k+ stars and still actively updated worth checking if you already use Codex and want to experiment with ChatGPT Web models

Code reviews Codex goes beyond static analysis—it checks a PR against its intent, reasons across the codebase and dependencies, and can run code to validate the behavior of changes. Set it up to auto-review new PRs in your repo, or tag @ codex.

How to actually get the most out of Codex instead of bookmarking another great guide you’ll never open again: We turned this article into an interactive workbench. Before prompting Codex, open the workbench, choose your task type, and check whether you’re using the right Codex capabilities. Built by Codex inside Open Design. If you want the workbench, reply “Open Design” below and I’ll send it to you.

The MotionSites skill is live 🚀 I turned 700+ of my best website designs into one skill. Install it and your agent stops making generic AI slop and starts building cinematic, animated sites like these. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any agent. Free and open source:

You can now orchestrate Fable 5, Sol, and any model inside Codex with one plugin. It's called Codex-Orchestration. Assign Fable 5 as the advisor, Sol as the executor, or any model to any role. Then define the order they work in. Codex handles the routing. I ran Fable 5 High as planner with GPT-5.6 Sol Extra High as executor on a set of issues Opus and GPT-5.5 always struggled with. Done in 30 minutes. 40% fewer limit hits. 2x faster implementation. Install it by pasting this into Codex: "Install Codex Orchestration: codex plugin marketplace add Cjbuilds/Codex-Orchestration codex plugin add codex-orchestration@codex-orchestration Verify the installation, then tell me to start a new task." Then assign your models: @ codex-orchestration advisor: Claude Fable 5 High, Executor: GPT-5.6 Sol High Open source. Tweak the routing however you want.

Alrighty, everything is ready 😎 here’s an unofficial “2x Codex limits” promo from my side for you all. meet DevSpace — an MCP connector app that turns ChatGPT into Codex. npm install -g @waishnav/devspace After installing, tunnel the MCP server over the internet and enjoy 2x limits. You can use GPT-5.5 Pro, xHigh, or High for planning, then hand off the task to your local Codex/pi/opencode/cursor/claude code instance. Or you can just use it for reviewing code written by other local coding agents Go ahead, experiment with different workflows, and keep the feedback coming on GitHub Issues or in my DMs And let’s thank OpenAI for being so generous by giving us separate ChatGPT and Codex limits and by being so chill around this MCP :) Please use it sparingly, only when you run out of limits. Don’t overuse it — in the end, they do have a button to stop it 🙂

🚨 do you understand what OpenAI just announced.. ChatGPT Pro is now $100/month. 10x more Codex usage. and Codex isn't autocomplete - it writes, debugs, builds entire apps. autonomously. if you've used Claude Opus for coding you know the feeling. Codex hits the same way. except Claude Opus limits burn through in hours. you blink and you're out. Codex just got a $100 tier built to run 24/7. no cooldowns. no "you've reached your limit" at 2am mid-build. they're not selling you a chatbot. they're selling you a software engineer that never sleeps and never asks for equity. and they're doing it quietly while everyone argues about tariffs.

Codex can run Qwen-3.8-max now as well!! Alibaba most capable model, dropped today and it's already in my codex picker. It's a token plan subscription, not metered api billing. You take the key from your Qwen plan, drop it into Codex Router, and it spends down the plan instead of your card. There's a catch though. Qwen's official setup switches your whole codex over to them, so your ChatGPT models stop showing up at all. That's exactly what Codex Router is for. It adds models to the list instead of replacing them, so sol, Grok, kimi, Deepseek and now Qwen 3.8 max all sit in the same picker and it can grab whichever one suits the job. Router's open source, setup's in the video 👇

Working on a “Hand-Off to Mac” way to load the chats from the Codex Remote Control for iOS app to the Codex App Codex app-server doesn’t quite support a live update So I decided to find a workaround A button that forces the closing of the Codex App and reopening it in the chat created from iPhone Would you use this button?

Progress through Codex → unlock characters → take them into SOMO Battleground Gauntlet. Every pack that you rip is a step in building the strongest squad. Flash drops, sudden-death pulls, reward loops. Codex has it all. See you on the battlefield.

Codex halts all work once you hit your limit, causing you to lose valuable work. So I built Sundown, a plugin that monitors your Codex usage limits. When you're running low, your agent is told to wrap things up so you can pick up the work in a new session. Never lose a PR in progress.
