COEP’s remarkable journey of 172 years stands as a testament to its... excellence, and in 2028 it will complete 175 glorious years. Over the decades, it has nurtured many distinguished alumni who have enriched diverse fields and brought pride to Maharashtra and the nation. COEP has earned a stellar reputation in engineering, technology, and research. The Government has already provided land for the university’s expansion, and it is essential to continue strengthening such institutions. In the years to come, full support will be extended to further enrich COEP, including the provision of funding to promote advanced research. With the world changing rapidly through Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, opportunities and challenges lie ahead. Just as India’s IT engineers transformed global perceptions during the dot-com boom of the 1990s, we have the potential to once again lead the world through these emerging technologies.
