Not only should it not be controversial that I refuse to give myself powers that are not clearly stated in federal law, but that should absolutely be the standard, the constant of how an EPA Administrator approaches this position. Strictly adhere to the single best reading of the law pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright, and don’t ever get creative in trying to give myself any powers that the law hasn’t given me. If Congress wants me to do something other than the single best reading of the law, then they should try to change the law instead of demanding that I circumvent statute.

The audacity and hypocrisy of this woman are beyond belief. Hunt laments ongoing “confusion” about sex and gender - which she has done more than anyone else in the UK to create. She actually says - I’m not making this up - “It is our job to create good law.” Hunt spent her entire time as CEO of Stonewall undermining the law, creating confusion and above all training public and private sector organisations nationwide to “go beyond the law.” That meant - break the law. It meant acting as if the UK had sex self-ID. Which it has never had. But institutions and organisations from the NHS to the police followed her lead. They misrepresented and broke the law. And it’s like, come on, man — this is completely backwards. In our country, you don’t get clemency, you don’t get a pardon — or you should not — unless you admit guilt, show remorse, cooperate, and try to do what law enforcement and the public want you to do to make things right. She’s done none of those things. She’s never admitted guilt. She’s never shown remorse. And now she’s saying she’s only going to cooperate if she gets clemency. So I’ve introduced a resolution saying she should never be given clemency. She should never get a pardon. She’s a monster.

CO AG Weiser: I don’t understand Governor Polis’ action to commute the sentence of Tina Peters. She broke the law. She broke her oath of office. She undermined election equipment at a cost of millions of dollars. I prosecuted her along with the Republican district attorney because it was about the rule of law. It’s about protecting our elections. It’s about doing what’s right.
