Mesmerizing precision in every movement

i now think of machines as semi organic natural extensions of ourselves just waiting for the brains we are now building them.

yes it's semi organic natural extensions. but brain is not clever currently

The precision of this 5-axis machining is so satisfying to watch, the motion flow is really smooth.

It's getting more and more advanced—achieving high-precision geometric milling. The motion is incredibly smooth. The times have progressed a lot.

since it runs smoothly.. could we speed it up 5X? or 10X? Just wondering, also could the machine run without light, even better if the facility runs on motion sense lights, just so the main office lights and central computer to 10 or 15 CNC machine are the only watt usage?

5–10X faster? Not necessarily. Speed depends on the material, tooling, and precision requirements. currently still need people to monitor the machines. It's really a question of whether one operator manages one machine or several.

GM.. and thanks for the info, didn't think of it that way. sounds more like the reasoning to why people can't bring ball point pens into a titanium factory. guess everything has a reason.

Hoping to see machines like this at FabTech in Las Vegas next week. ⚙️
