Commando the Arcade cabinet version vs Commodore 64. This shouldn't be so close! The Commodore 64, 'Commando SE' was released 2015 running on a standard Commodore 64. A worthy port (remake)?

Ground breaking game. It ate many of my coins in the arcade. There was another one in the years that followed where you ran a vehicle. Humvee or some such.

If you've played the arcade version of 1943, you'll see and hear the airplane and ships in this video.

La música del COMMANDO para el Commodore 64 directamente fue insuperable. Muy top.

Who Dares Wins II was better. 👍

Like always, Elite arcade conversions lacks of sound FX.

Looks awesome

Well, it wasn't close. Ever.. Dedicated hardware and screen in the arcade 100% had it..

I played the NES version of Commando on a light cheap top loading NES clone, to my surprise it’s not related to the Commando movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Commodore version is the best. Music rules.

Uno de los mejores juegos de la historia

one of my favorites when I was a kid

A cabinet with a c64 inside? Do we have pics of this? Never heard of this...

I was an expert in this game back in the day, I could play for hours using just 1 token

Just wondering if arcade was running on the same set up as c64. You can clearly see differences in fps and colours. Was it more RAM? Explanation will be appreciated.
