International Karate 1986 Commodore 64
Комментарии: 31

I played this game for so many hours. I might've spent months on it. Who knows?

Many joysticks died during the “fight”☝️

International Karate on the C64 still looks like pure dojo swagger. That stance animation aged ridiculously well.

I always wondered why they chose to fight in that Olympic Swimming Pool next to Luna Park.

One of the first games I pirated

Loved this one!!!!

Played this game a lot. Satisfying.

Lot of Street Fighter genetics here. Two fighters, one in a white gi, the other in red. Fighting in front of recognizable world locations…

I remember playing this game back in the late 80s. I especially remember the bonus level where you deflect the bowling balls with a shield.

THE best 1-on-1 fighting game of all time (followed closely by IK+ and The Way of the Exploding fist). No special moves. No combos. No health bar. Fight to the first hit. Perfection.

s'est le jeux qui à fais aimé le karater à @Herver_Karate69

Yeah man, had tournaments in the manor when this dropped

We were worldly at 12 yo! 🤣

My fav karate game and the very best music track by legend Rob Hubbard. I rounded the game just to finish the song.

Johnny Lawrence y Daniel LaRusso dan like @TheEagl59972737

I remember this game fondly.

Nice! Never played this one, and should check it out. Played a lot of Karateka

Nervige Musik noch heute im Ohr...🙄

Bloodsport

For a few seconds here I was 11 years old with unlimited play for 2 hours in my local arcade

I remember the 3 player version, think it was called IK+

There's a couple of really good skate spots just off screen to the left where the bridge pylon stands.

👍

My first was a VC20… 🤣

Didn’t his pants fall down at one point?

Call it what you, it's a port of Karate Champ.

Uwielbiałem!

Back when art was alive and creativity had a soul.

@sidomains Great game .. and sound effects!!

Today I learned that prince of Persia can't run on the commodore 64, since this game needs at least 512 kb of RAM and 8 mhz CPU to run. While my dad's first PC had 8 mb of RAM and Intel 386 CPU. And 512 mb of hard drive. The commodore 64's CPU was 1 mhz with 64 kb RAM.

i had a good time with it
