They changed this in 2016-present The 2010-2015 Grand Cherokees are deviants from the short-lived Chrysler/Fiat partnership. They put a piece of shit Tiger shark VVT engine in it. Flaming hot garbage. Internal failures all over the place. I currently have a 2021 (old body style). Has the V6 Pentastar in it. Keep the rust off of it, and this thing is amazing. 300hp to the floor.

I worked at a dodge dealer in the late 90’s. I would do a “72point inspection” on all incoming vehicles and I learned then, cherokees are junk. Back then every single one with over 30k on it squeaked like a metal framed daybed (IYKYK) and you couldn’t get it to go away. Electrical was a shitty nightmare anytime something happened. Plus most wrangler owners are assholes. Have maybe met ONE in my life that wasn’t a pretentious twat. The only jeep ever worth a fk was the original square body regular cherokees with the straight6 (4.0L) and if taken care of they would run forever.
