COMMUNICATION 101 GONE HORRIBLY WRONG FOR RBZ GOVERNOR It is unfortunate and rather very concerning that a growing number of important stuff that the new Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor, Dr John Mushayavanhu, has been captured on video saying at public gatherings of one sort or another are either... patently ill-advised or politically naive or downright outrageous or all these things rolled into one. Many, like this writer, who have known him or are familiar with with Dr Mushayavanhu's work in various capacities in his profession, and who have wished him well in his new public responsibility at the highest echelon of the Central Bank, would like to think that Dr Mushayavanhu was appointed to the position of RBZ governor on merit; in light of his competitive qualifications and acclaimed experience in the financial services and banking sector. But going by the outrageous stuff he's captured saying on the attached video clip, when he was celebrating his appointment with his clansmen at his village, it seems Dr Mushayavanhu sees himself as having been appointed on account of his home village, tribe and region; a consideration which leaves him deservedly vulnerable to the charge that he's just a primitive tribalist and regionaliist. The fact that the late Predident Mugabe who hailed from Mashonaland appointed four successive RBZ governors from Manicaland, should have given Dr Mushayavanhu a substantive reason to pause and think better, rationally and consider that all of his four predecessors were arguably appointed on merit; not on account of their tribe or region. In any event, it was crude and unbecoming of a Central Bank governor for Dr Mushayavanhu to gratuitously smear the names of all the previous RBZ governors before him, namely, Dr James Kombo Moyana; Dr Leonard Tsumba; Dr Gideon Gono and Dr John Mangudya, when he disrespectfully and unprofessionally referred to them individually by their names in an unsavoury tribal and regional reference; as he addressed his clansmen at his home village, in crass celebration of his RBZ appointment as a tribal and regional achievement. Someone with the RBZ Governor's ear should advise Dr Mushayavanhu to henceforth keep quiet for a long time, work on monetary policy from his office, and quit speaking at public gatherings. Just in: A video from inside a court in occupied Jerusalem shows Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya appearing via video link and attempting to speak with his attorney before Israeli court security blocked the screen and terminated the call, preventing journalists from filming the exchange or the video appearance. Just as reminder - As if it weren’t disgusting enough on its own that Hank brought up Dr. Wolfe’s wife in open court, this was on the heels of the April 28 voir dire where Dr. Wolfe explained that his wife and children had been harassed because of comments Hank had made about him in court. He said it was a very difficult time for his family. Hank knew exactly what he was doing and chose to put Dr. Wolfe’s family in danger again, all with the intention of prosecuting a woman that he knows is factually innocent.

1. CDC scientists colluded to cover up a relationship between the timing of the MMR vaccine and autism in African Americans that was first discovered in November of 2001. Rather than reporting the results to the public, all data regarding this relationship were destroyed at a secret meeting held some time in August/September of 2002. This fact has been affirmed via an affidavit given by Dr. Thompson to Rep. Bill Posey in September, 2014. 2. Dr. Thompson attempted to warn the CDC Director at the time, Dr. Julie Gerberding, regarding this relationship, prior to the February 2004 Institute of Medicine meeting on vaccines and autism. Rather than allowing Dr. Thompson to present the information at this meeting, Dr. Gerberding replaced him as a speaker with Dr. Frank Destefano, current director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, where he presented fraudulent results regarding the MMR vaccine and autism. Dr. Thompson was put on administrative leave and was threatened that he would be fired due to “insubordination.” 3. When Dr. Thompson attempted to leave the CDC later that same year, he was given a $24,000 retention bonus. Dr. Thompson’s impression of the timing of this bonus, in light of disciplinary actions taken against him earlier that year, is that CDC officials were “buying his silence” through controlling his actions as a CDC employee. 4. Dr. Thompson has published two papers linking thimerosal exposure in infant vaccines to tics in boys (Thompson et al. 2007 and Barile et al. 2012). CDC fraudulently maintains on their website that “There is no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.” ( The tic result was also affirmed in the earlier CDC publication by Verstraeten et al. Feel terribly sorry for Dr.Palanivel Thiaga Rajan and his emotional “Retirement Speech”! When DMK came back to power in 2021, Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR) (and his 'sold' pedigree) was seen as someone who could bring a turnaround to the state’s finances. But he was so naïve and alien to DMK politics that he started seriously questioning finances. As a result, he exposed the DMK first family tooth and nail. Since then, he has been relegated from the Finance Ministry (arguably the second most powerful ministry) to the relatively innocuous IT Ministry, which suggests he was sidelined not because of his performance but because of his honesty. If you are honest, you can never be with DMK! Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR) should have instantly quit DMK and reached out to "other options" that would have “onboarded” him with “open arms.” If he had done that, today he wouldn’t be weeping like this. The relationship between the President of Malawi, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, and his kitchen cabinet on one hand, and his Vice President, Dr Jane Ansah, on the other, has deteriorated so badly that on 1 March, when President Mutharika left for a medical check-up in South Africa and was given a military parade in his honour before departure, the Vice President was not allowed to see him at the airport by state security. She was kept waiting in her car, a clear sign of a complete breakdown in trust and working relations at the very top of the Malawian government. This is not the first time that President Mutharika has fallen out with one of his vice presidents. In his first term, he fell out with his Vice President, Dr Saulos Chilima, leading to a complete breakdown in their working relationship, with Chilima eventually forming his own party, the United Transformation Movement, and openly challenging Mutharika for power. His elder brother, former president Bingu wa Mutharika, also fell out with his vice presidents, first Dr Cassim Chilumpha and later Dr Joyce Banda. During his first term, Bingu wa Mutharika fell out with Dr Cassim Chilumpha after accusing him of being involved in an alleged coup plot in 2006. Chilumpha was arrested and charged with treason, and although he remained constitutionally vice president, their working relationship completely collapsed. In his second term, Bingu wa Mutharika fell out with Dr Joyce Banda after she refused to support his succession plans, particularly his attempt to position his brother, Peter Mutharika, as his successor. Banda was expelled from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party but remained vice president because the constitution protected her position. By the time Bingu wa Mutharika died in 2012, the relationship had broken down so badly that senior officials attempted to block Joyce Banda from assuming the presidency, despite the constitution clearly mandating that the vice president takes over.
