Not downplaying this awesomely good deed, honestly these officersโ€™ kudos are well-deserved, but I think my first reaction as the significant other would be screw the groceries, screw the car, get me to hospital so I can be with my loved-one.

***Chief Garcia providing sound regarding a critical police incident โ€“ officer involved shooting that occurred this morning.*** The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a critical police incident-officer involved shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in East Fort Worth. On May 16, 2026, at approximately 4:15 a.m., FWPD East Division officers were on scene working a previous officer involved shooting near the 4200 block of Wiman Drive. While still investigating the shooting, a white SUV drove by multiple times at a high rate of speed. It appeared the driver was attempting to hit officers standing near their vehicles. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver failed to stop. Officers pursued the SUV for approximately 15 minutes and eventually stopped the vehicle with a tactical vehicle intervention, also known as a PIT maneuver. Officers then approached the vehicle with their guns drawn and gave multiple verbal commands. The adult male subject did not comply with the officersโ€™ orders and grabbed an officerโ€™s handgun. At that point, multiple officers fired their guns and struck the suspect. Medical aid was provided by officers until the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived on scene. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. A Fort Worth Police Officer was injured during this incident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is unknown at this point how the officer was injured. The officer is listed in good condition. Detectives from the Major Case unit were called to the scene and are continuing the investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Tarrant County Crime Stoppers by visiting or calling 817-469-8477. Service Number: 260036358

Entitled woman attacks officer turns routine traffic into 9 months in jail. Milwaukee County Corporal Adam and Officer Rachel pulled over a motorcycle operator, identified as Yashira. The initial reasons for the traffic enforcement action were straightforward: riding without proper eyewear and driving without a valid license. However, what should have been a standard citation quickly escalated when a crowd began to gather around the scene. โ€‹As the officers attempted to secure the area, Yashira claimed she did not speak English and began calling out to the surrounding neighborhood for assistance. Shortly after, her boyfriend, Charlieโ€”the registered owner of the motorcycleโ€”arrived on the scene and aggressively approached the officers. โ€‹Despite multiple loud and clear commands to "back off" and "get back," Charlie refused to comply, repeatedly arguing with the officers in both English and Spanish. When the officers moved to place Charlie under arrest for obstructing their investigation, the situation turned chaotic. โ€‹As officers attempted to handcuff Charlie, Yashira actively intervened. She physically struck and battled with the officers in a desperate attempt to prevent her boyfriend's arrest. Additional backup units had to be called to the scene to restore order, defuse the crowd, and safely take both individuals into custody. They were transported to the Milwaukee County Jail in separate vehicles. โ€‹The decision to fight law enforcement instead of handling the traffic citations in court led to serious criminal charges: โ€‹Yashira: Convicted of Battery and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. She was found guilty and sentenced to serve 9 months in a house of correction, followed by 1 year of probation. โ€‹Charlie: Charged with Resisting an Officer for his role in obstructing the initial investigation. โ€‹There was no indication on citizenship status of either individual in the records made available. They wanted to play stupid games so they were awarded stupid prizes.

๐Ÿšจ LVMPD Arrests Violent Crime Suspect After High-Speed Pursuit ๐Ÿšจ Earlier this morning, a murder occurred in North Las Vegas. Just 30 minutes later, LVMPD officers responded to a crash near Spring Mountain and I-15. While investigating that crash, officers were approached by a citizen who reported they had just been carjacked. Through quick investigative work, our officers determined the vehicle involved in the crash was also connected to the earlier homicide. The suspect from the murder was now also a suspect in the carjacking. Once we obtained the license plate of the carjacked vehicle, our officers and our Real-Time Crime Center tracked the suspect driving around our Downtown Area Command. Officers located the vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. The chase continued along the Boulder Highway corridor, during which the suspect carjacked a second victim at a fast-food drive-thru. Our LVMPD Air Unit maintained visual contact as the suspect reached speeds of over 105 mph. Moments later, the suspect crashed into a bus stop near Boulder Hwy & Tropicanaโ€”critically injuring one person waiting there. The suspect fled again after a third carjacking, but our officers were able to safely end the pursuit using a PIT maneuver near Sahara & Boulder Hwy. The suspect is now in custody. In total: ๐Ÿ”น 3 carjackings ๐Ÿ”น 1 homicide ๐Ÿ”น 1 person critically injured We commend our officers for their swift actions and teamwork to bring this suspect into custody.

Waters and Chief Alan Parker shared details about an officer-involved-shooting. This happened on Beach Boulevard at I-295 in the Southside Estates area. Around 6 p.m. Saturday evening, officers responded to a traffic crash with injures on Beach Boulevard. Witnesses say a woman was driving east on Beach Boulevard, making the left turn to get onto I-295N, and she had the green arrow. As she made the turn, witnesses say another car, driven by the suspect (69-year-old white man), drove through the red light and hit the womanโ€™s car. Those near the scene of the crash report the suspect began making statements he wanted to shoot himself and take his own life. Patrol officers and paramedics responded. The officers began speaking with the suspect as he continued to make concerning statements with his gun in his hand. One of the officers leading the conversation with the man is a trained negotiator. The officers spoke to the suspect for about 20 minutes, but the suspect was not responding often. After about 20 minutes of negotiations, another man began passing the area where the suspect and officers were. The suspect turned to the man, still with the gun in his hand, and thatโ€™s when the officers fired shots. Rescue took the suspect to the hospital where he died. We cannot give his name yet, as his next of kin has not been notified yet. However, this suspect had his license revoked last year, and he had 5 D.U.I. charges on his criminal record. The woman involved in the crash had two kids in the car with her. All three had minor injuries in the crash and received medical treatment at the scene. This is the 12th officer-involved-shooting this year for the Jacksonville Sheriffโ€™s Office. The officers involved in the shooting are G. Hernandez and Z. Slatowski. Neither officer received any injuries in this incident. The State Attorneyโ€™s Office is on scene, completing its investigation. Once its investigation is complete, the Jacksonville Sheriffโ€™s Office will conduct its own investigation.

According to the statement, although the officer showed restraint most of the time, he allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment on a couple of occasions. He added that the officer has been taken into custody for appropriate disciplinary actions. According to report the incident involved Aderele Aisha, who drove against traffic and allegedly assaulted the officer, behaving in a disorderly and unruly manner. He wrote, "As much as the police officer exercised restraint, he allowed his emotions get the better part of him once or twice. A police officer is expected to exercise utmost restraint in the face of provocation. This definitely is a teaching moment for officers and men of the Force. The officer has been taken in for appropriate actions. "That being said, Aderele Aisha, who drove against traffic, clearly assaulted the officer and behaved in a disorderly and unruly manner. She has since profusely apologized for her actions and tendered a written apology. "While we continue to train our men to be as professional as possible, while not sparing any officer who clearly acts unprofessionally, we urge the citizenry to strive to maintain decorum in their dealings with security agencies." --- Follow us for more breaking news and videos

Squatter claims Adverse Possession on 577k home. Goes full Karen fighting with police. โ€‹The incident began when a local real estate agent arrived at a bank-owned, foreclosed property in Cape Coral, Florida to show it to a potential client. The home was actively listed on the MLS and legally owned by Select Portfolio Servicing. However, when the agent got to the door, they discovered the lockbox had been forcibly hacked off the handle and the locks completely changed. โ€‹Inside was a woman who claimed she and her husband had legally claimed the home through "adverse possession with title," arguing the property was abandoned. The agent immediately contacted the Cape Coral Police Department to report the illegal occupation. โ€‹When officers arrived, the situation quickly went off the rails. Believing she was completely above the law, the woman refused to cooperate, yelling adverse possession saying she could not open the front door. She repeatedly shouted that the officers had no legal authority over her and that she was immune to their commands. โ€‹The moment officers moved in to lawfully detain her for investigation, the woman completely lost control, exhibiting truly unhinged behavior: โ€‹ She began shrieking at the top of her lungs, flailing, and physically fighting against the officers, falsely screaming that she was the one being assaulted. โ€‹ As police worked to secure her in handcuffs, her aggression peaked when she intentionally spat directly into an officer's faceโ€”escalating her charges to a felony. โ€‹ The unhinged behavior didn't stop once she was caught. While in transit to the car and once in the car, she continuously managed to slip out of her handcuffs and physically combat the transport officers, forcing police to use additional physical restraints just to safely get her to jail. โ€‹With her dogs handed over to animal control, the woman was hauled off to booking. What started as an attempt to illegally occupy a foreclosure ended with a laundry list of serious charges, including: โ€‹Burglary of a Dwelling โ€‹Trespassing โ€‹Resisting an Officer with Violence โ€‹Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (for spitting on the officer) Great job by these officers for battling this one down to the station. I honestly was surprised how much of a battle she put up.
