I just wish we still had X11… I want computer use on my remote boxes and display windows remotely.

Ash Hart27 days ago

I used this to control my Studio over screen share, and it worked pretty well. I asked it to stop the running oMLX server from the GUI and open Safari. I can see a lot of potential.

I also used share share for my old Macbook Pro, its ok-ish but it also means the agent (I have separate agent *nix account) has to be logged-in. What would be great is like I have a remote *nix box, then your computer control, then a chrome browser running remotely but displayed locally.

Kernel CLI has native computer-use commands (i.e. no Playwright). It’s intuitive enough that OpenCode + Opus 4.5 can just drive a browser and read the HN front page. (cc Rhys)
